DC to USB - Great Option
I have a USB fan in the battery box by the gate. This is exactly what was needed to run the fan, and has a very low draw from the battery. Easy to install, clamps right to the battery, and runs as expected.

This item very handy during Hurricane Ian
This was a life saver during our 10 days without electricity with Hurricane Ian. Used with a marine battery in conjunction with a solar panel for charge every day. We were able to keep all our phones/devices fully charged thanks to this device, marine battery and solar panel. Great investment.

I use it everyday.
I hooked it directly to a 25w solar panel..... I run a little usb fan and charge my phone from it during the day...... I use it daily and have had no issues with it. Handy little item.

Will actually put out 8A.
These cheap chargers are so hit or miss. This one is designed with a single 8A supply. I put it on the load tester and it could indeed supply 8A. Note that all the ports are tied together to one 8A supply so you could technically draw all 8A through one port. I believe technically this violates the USB spec, but it works for my application with plenty of headroom.

Feels Cheep but works well
Installed this in my truck because the 3amp power converters were not able to power my phone enough to actually charge it while android auto was in use, not even breaking even, was slowing discharging. With this, however, I get a net gain on power usage.

Emergency charging
I am involved with emergency operations for communications. Having had power cut for several days more than once I looked for and found this very useful charging device. During a power outage wireless communications are very important and this charger easily clips on to your car 12 volt battery and enables you to charge up to four devices at once. If you have flashlights with rechargeable batteries you will be able to charge one cell at a time on each of the four outlets (total of 4 cells). Charging any device that can charge from a USB port is possible with this device. Great for emergencies.
