Columbia Women's Big Powder Pillow Jacket

I will not be buying from Amazon again but not bc of the product itself. The product is very warm but fits a little snug in the hip/butt area. Overall I am happy with the coat now that it's finally arrived. I paid extra for priority 2 day shipping and it took 4 days for me to get it bc of their SurePost shipping. After I called to complain they did refund me the extra shipping cost but it took me 2 days of talking to Amazon customer service, UPS customer service and finally USPS post office to figure out where my coat was. I finally spoke to an extremely nice Post Master at my post office and she found out that my coat was at a post office way across town. She called their to have them specially deliver it that same day (still 2 days later than it should have been). I ordered it early in the week since I was leaving that weekend and needed it for my trip. I didn't get it until hours before I was leaving... Amazon just kept looking up the same tracking information that I was privy to online and telling me what it said for 2 days... they were of no help. This is not the first time this has happened however the other times I let it go bc I had not paid extra for priority shipping and chalked it up to my problem... this time was the last straw... by Amazong and good luck in the future with that TERRIBLE SurePost system you have...

I love the fit and flexibility of this coat. It is comfortable and stands up to the super cold winters of Michigan. The hood is warm and provides an extra measure of protection from the cold winds coming off the lake while snowmobiling. The pocket zippers are a problem because they zip close in the wrong direction and the zipper gets caught in the fabric. You need two hands to close them but they open just fine. Over all I would recommend this coat if you have a partner to help you secure your stuff before winter activities.

I bought this as a gift for my sister. She absolutely loves it! And, she is one who speaks her mind and doesn't just say what someone wants to hear. She is in her early 50's and says this is nicest, warmest, and most practical coat she has ever worn. She has long curly hair and loves the hood because she can just pop it over her head if its windy or rainy - and if not, it lays flat on her back out of the way. She says the pockets are great, because she doesn't like to carry a purse all the time, and they are easy to get into yet secure enough to hold what she needs. She loves the quality and pillowy quilted design, which she says is nice enough for dress casual while still being practical enough for working around the yard. All in all... a great coat!

Great coat. LOVE the sleeves/wrist materials that keep the cold out. The wind cannot blow up and in. I am a Minnesotan and this coat keeps me warm. It runs small. I ordered the size up based on other reviews and glad I did! I am short (5'2) so it covers me half of my butt (which is great). If I was taller it would hit at my waist.I would recommend - just be sure to order a size larger than you normally would.

This does run a bit small, but still a very nice jacket. Exactly what I wanted, no detachable hood, nice length, lightweight but warm. I ordered the Black and Flint Grey, the Grey is not as pictured. The pic looks like a nice light grey color but it is actually very muddy, almost a grey/beige. Very dull looking. Sending that one back, keeping the black.

I previously ordered a different Columbia jacket in an XL. It was too small around my arms and in the bust. Ordered this style in a 1X and both are a little better, but I would never be able to wear a heavy sweater or sweatshirt under it.

I knew Columbia ran small so I ordered the bigger size and it's perfect! I still have enough room to wear a sweater under it, though I don't need to as it keeps me plenty warm. I wore this when it was -10 out and I was nice and toasty.

The coat was somewhat small..I am thinking about returning or maybe there is a larger size available?? Can you let me know how the process works??
