Not Little League approved as of May 2011 despite it saying so in the 2011 bat's description
This is a good looking bat, that is about all that I can say for it. It was never used, because despite it being falsely stated in the description that the Louisville Slugger 2011 TPX Dynasty Composite Baseball Bat is approved for Little League, it is not. It even says it on the 2011 bat. There is a Louisville Slugger TPX Dynasty bat on the Little League approved list. This is not that bat. Why false and misleading information continues to be present for so many bats is very disapointing. The changes went into effect in 2010, more than 8 months ago. This is a 2011 model bat. Quality companies like Louisville Slugger and Amazon should not allow their customers to be mislead in this way. OK, returning it is easy, but I had rather just be able to buy my kid a bat without having to have a Little League official and an attorney present.

Dang this bats good! I hit 6 homers with one of them that sailed 324 ft in a 13u league. I've hit all my home runs with these sweet tpx dynasty bats! Great buy, great hits!

This summer ONLY for USSSA
For the 2011 season, my son has been having a tremendous amount of success with this bat at 29 incues/17oz and he's about 5'1, 120.Santa Claus brought him this bat and at that time was selling everywhere on the internet for $199.95 and not a penny less. I'm a little po'd at the manufacturers and leagues not getting together sooner to prevent consumers/parents from throwing away money. The reason for the huge discount - it is not going to be legal for USSSA next year. Don't know about other leagues. So there's plenty of season left in 2011 and if you need it still this year, go for it, otherwise... not worth it.
