I was hesitant to buy this mask due to price. With others touting a substantial lower price I was skeptical.I'm just returning to umpiring from a 10 year abroad. When it comes to going behind the plate I have always striven to get the best protection I could afford. Head shots galore in my experience. The mask is a priority. You have to expect balls to the face and not duck. I am very happy with this Easton mask. Lightweight and fits great. Takes a licking and keeps on ticking. Lightest mask I have used in 12 years of umpiring.

Okay maybe not exactly the lightest, however it is extremely light weight and strong. Fits over my glasses and is very comfortable. Very excited to use it for a whole season.

I love the skull and cap style of helmet. This facemask is super light weight. I've had a few umpires pick it up after I've tossed it, and they said it's the lightest mask they've felt so far. Been domed a few times by foul balls too when I was catching and apart from the normal initial stun, this mask has protected my beautiful face a few times already! Definitely recommend buying this if you need a new mask.

Mask is good. Great padding. Navy color is perfect and silver bars looks sharp. I bought this mask with the Easton CCX Skull Cap and they look/feel great together. My only issue is with the straps the mask comes with. They do not adjust enough and is to tight to rip off the mask without the skull cap going with it. I ordered the Navy All-Star DeltaFlex Catcher's Mask Harness to try out in place of the cheap harness the mask comes with.

The Easton Speed Elite mask is very comfortable, sturdy, light weight, and no vision obsturction. I bought this for my 13 year old son and he loves it. The only problem is that LL rules forbid the use of skull caps, becasue they do not cover the ears. So he will have to use a hockey style mask until he gets older or Easton makes a helmut that would meet the safety rating and cover the ears that could be used with this great mask.

I like this mask cause most of the masks where I umpire for our little league have worn out straps, and worst of all, leather padding. On a hot day, black leather is the last thing you want to put against your face unless you want a whip hitting it.Getting this allows you to have your own mask, with washable mesh-like pads. Just make sure you know how the pads were arranged before you take them off.

This catchers mask has gone above and beyond all that I expect from a catchers mask.First and foremost the mask is unbelievably light compared to any I have ever worn.The pads are what adds to that lightness as they appear to be made up of memory foam.I also noticed that this mask keeps my face and head cool compared to any of the other masks and helmets I have worn.I would recommend this mask to anyone looking for an affordable,light catchers mask.

My son used the exact same model for 2 seasons the only issue is the clips can brake that hold the strap adjustment. If this happens during the game break out the tape. I got my son to get the exact fit he wanted then I dropped it off to be sewn so it cant move and doesn't depend on the plastic clips. This mask is super lightweight and he loves it. Extremely durable and the foam/material has held up great. Will purchase again
