This stuff is a god send, It absorbes the yucky puss stuff in your wound. It stings a bit when ya first put it on but im getting good results and my sore is half the size

Works really well.
I was skeptical of this, but wanted to try it with a biopsy that is not healing very well. I have had it on for the past few days. You will need some sort of tape for the bandage. It is sticky and you want it covered. The wound is finally showing signs of healing with my last bandage change. You will need to clean the wound between bandage changes because it is sticky. It does clean easily so no worries there. I highly recommend this to anyone who needs wound care.

some one could make money if they made these larger!
I have very large dogs, and thet get leg wounds all the time (pressure from laying on hard surfaces like my cold tiled floor or driveway --- dogs : ( . These things are the best to heal these sores quickly - keeps the vet visits down. These and the silver patches are a wonder. Now for the humans, I do use these on my kids, and they are the perfect size *2 by 2. No complaints or whining. Heals quickly. I used to use the creams, these are more convenient.

Use only with seeping wounds
Good wound healing and protection (under gauze, not alone) but i would not recommend this if you plan to do daily dressing changes. One day isn't enough for the bandage to break down and gel in a way that helps heal. If you're doing frequent changes, there's a good chance this will stick to your wound. The packaging clearly states that this is only for wounds with exudate (liquid seeping) for this very reason. It'll get stuck in the wound and need to be washed off or it will pull off any scabbing.

Faster Wound Healing
The nurse that was coming in to do wound care suggested these since the honey helps to speed the healing process which we found it actually does make the healing of wounds much faster.

Doctor recommended these
Our doctor recommended these for dressing a deep wound on the end of an amputee's stump. The antibacterial properties of the honey helped speed wound healing. The honey is sticky (natch!) but is water-soluble so easy cleanup when changing dressings.
