It’s awkward
I loved this, or wanted to love it. My 10-month-old DEFINITELY loved it! He wasn’t awkward. I was.I am short, 5’4”, and had to pedal with my legs sticking out at odd angles, which got pretty uncomfortable after 6 miles. If you’re a small person, the size of your bike will force the seat to be mounted close to your crotch, which means your legs with jot out, putting your knees at odd angles.I wish I had a video! My older kids thought I was hilarious pedaling like that!It was quite easy to install, I did it in 20 minutes. I did end up returning it after about 3 weeks and the bolts were already starting to rust.It was great as far as the baby loving it, a great concept to have the seat there! But no good for shorties.

Something to know ...
The seat fits well after a little trial. The instruction weren't great and I considered returning because weren't good. That aside, it works and my little one has a new view of the world. One thing to note, not specifically about this product, is that any seat which sits in front of the rider may put additional stress on your knees. This will alter your biking form since it may be forced to open your legs more to pedal. Even if your ride is casual (as it should), there is additional stress on your knees. That's the case for me, and I do have some pain in both knees as a result. I had no such pain prior to the seat. I will likely get a seat which put the child in rear save my kness from any potential problems in the future.A note about the safey. The straps tend to fall off easily, so I need make it tight which does make my child a bit uncomfortable .... but not big deal as long as he is safe. The rider can easily monitor it.

Would be nice if was easily removable
I have had the seat for close to a year and like it but I wish the seat, not the frame could have a connection that allows the seat to be easily removed when not carrying the child to make it more comfortable to ride the bike when not carrying a child. The seat is wide and forces you to spread the front of your legs.

Fun seat
My son loves this. It's a great way to get some exercise and also family time if your little one is still too small to keep up on their trike, or can't ride yet at all. It's better than the back mounting type, since it allows the child to see everything and not just the back of your head. I have this on a 17 inch frame suspension mountain bike, and I do have to bow my legs slightly when I'm pedalling to avoid hitting the seat when my knee comes up. I'm only 5'6", so a taller rider may have trouble, but then you may also ride a larger bike, so it may not be a problem. The seat removes easily without tools once the bracket is attached to your seat tube. Just make sure you use a drill to tighten the bracket to the seat tube. I tried with the screwdriver and wrench provided, and it kept sliding down. On a floating seat, that means it slid off, but I tested it without my son in it. I would recommend anyone else do the same. After getting it tight enough, the bolts were threaded far enough through that the face plate that hides them wouldn't fit, but I don't really care how it looks. Overall I'm very satisfied with this product. I have a couple nit picks, but it does exactly what I want it to.

Not for taller people I guess
The concept of this bike seat is nice, but I'm 5'6 and have a 26in mountain bike. I cannot pedal with this seat on it. I have to bow my legs out so they don't hit the seat. Will be getting one for the back instead.

Versatile
The directions on how to put this thing together are quite terrible. You also have to be careful with the break line as the pictured directions show a groove on the unit for the cord, but it doesn’t actually have one. Luckily there was enough space on the side to let the break line go down (pictured). Once out together, I like the unit and my kid enjoys being able to ride with us. The seat does bounce a little bit bc my bike doesn’t have the straight crossbar (V), but still sturdy. I really like this one over some of the others as it can be moved to my husband’s bike that does have a straight crossbar.

Perfectly Fine But Laughably Bad Instructions
If you buy this just do yourself a favor and throw out the instructions right away; they’re useless and will just confuse you. It’s largely intuitive to install anyway so it’s not a big deal, but you’ll also want to have a socket wrench handy to deal with the bolts for the bottom harness (the little wrench it comes with would take someone HOURS to install it with). As far as the final product goes though, so far so good.
