This product is great to feed your Tortoise off. It helps spread the food around whilst leaving your the Tortoise table clean. Not sure if it will help with nails or beak but i have only had this 2 days and my Tortoise loves it. Started feeding off it as soon as food was available. Just the right size for my Tortoise table and washes and cleans nicely, would recommend.

Slight issue with postal service but rectified immediately. Would not hesitate to use again if needed! Great customer service

I use this slate as a basking spot for my tortoises, and also have another one I put their food on. They are easy to clean - just need a wet paper towel if its just a quick clean. My tortoises enjoy the even space they provide to bask in.

How strange that something as simple as this is so useful. My 8 year old spur-thigh tortoise loves it. He now sulks if his bedding falls over it so its another daily job clearing it for him so he can then bask on it under his lamp. At least it stops him chasing the dog. Slightly smaller than I expected but well wrapped when it arrived and clean enough to be used straight away. Very pleased and would recommend.

I use this as a slate mat for my tortoise to eat his food on to keep his beak trim. careful not to put it directly under the heat lamp as it does get quite warm
