I bought this with some caution not being sure if it worked. I did some research with another amazon seller and bought exactly the right type of plants for the pond. The grasses are doing well and flowers are covering the rest of the baskets and spreading out on the water. A good buy if you want floating plants. They supply shade for the fish, I have seen frogs sitting on them and the smaller birds usethem to the get to the water. Just make sure you use the right soil and light gravel and they will work for you.

Worked really well in my pond. You do need to take care to ensure planting weights are even and three tall plants would put them very low in the water.

This has been bought to stop ice forming hopefully it works for this but it looks fabulous

I needed a floater and baskets for our pond as the one I had been using broke up and I wanted to save the plants. So when I saw this I thought it would be O K so when it came I thought this looked like being the answer . I had to delay planting it up for a while due to a shoulder injury which left me unable to use my arm. after a few weeks I planted it and ask my Husband to put it in the pond for mean I was looking forward to watch it float OH dear it sank so we had to try and rescue it from the bottom the pond, my Husband said he thought it was to heavy to float so I set about replacing the pond gravel to a smaller one before trying again, but it was still no good as it sank again.So I decided I would have to use the pots and stand them on our small shelf in the pond. I then decided to send an email to the firm there reply was . What sort of aquatic soil did I use and the plants had to be a equal distance apart. I replied saying that I had used the proper soil and the Plants had been planted at a equal distance and it still kept sinking. However it is plain they do not want to know . So if you want a floater for your pond be warned do not waste your money on this one as it is not fit for the purpose.This firm I think should not be on Amazon site selling such rubbish and not wanting to stand by there products.

I did like this very much when I first bought it . I don’t recommend it for a Koi Pond , my Koi started to eat the plants and try to swim over the top of it . So what looked nice ended up looking destroyed . Apart from that I felt the plant pot size was small and didn’t allow much growing room for the root of plants .Much better for a goldfish pond or natural pond .
