I was going to wait a month before I wrote a review but I don't need to wait that long to know that this is the best shampoo I have ever used. From the first time I used it my hair looked fuller and felt softer. I know the reason it looked fuller is because it was no longer weighed down with the ingredients from my previous shampoo. Every time I've used this bar shampoo, my hair has looked better and better. The last couple of times I've noticed my hair is shinier, and less frizzy. This shampoo has a nice smell and it does lather up nicely. Also, I've noticed my hair stays cleaner longer. I'm only using this every 4 days and at this rate, this bar is going to easily last me 6 months, minimum. I've already packed up all my other shampoos and put them away. I would definitely recommend this shampoo.

I have been really hesitant to try another shampoo bar. Have tried all the big names with not so good results. But buying more product in more plastic, no go. I waited for a few weeks to post this review for a few reasons. My hair tends to 'rebound' into a total grease mess when I change products. And, for some reason, my shampoo bar and conditioner bar arrived a week apart. My hair did surprisingly well. No greasy rebound at all. Even the shampoo bar alone did just fine. Very happy with how my hair feels and it is very shiny. The shampoo bar lathers well and rinses cleanly. Two things: one reviewer mentioned only using the conditioner on the tips of the hair and I agree. That's all I really need. Using it all over the head gets to be a little heavy. And use a serrated knife or saw to cut it in half so it looks like a half moon or a capital D. You'll lose a little product in the cutting, but I like having only half in the shower and the half in a bag in the drawer. Don't use a straight edged blade as the product wants to splinter, but careful cutting with a serrated blade does just fine. Then, half a bar of conditioner and half a bar of shampoo fits easier on a soap dish and I really like how it fits in my hand. The curve fits into your palm and the flat edge is easier to use along your scalp line. Other reviews mention expense, and it feels expensive that all you're getting is this small disc, but it is going to last. I've used this for three weeks and the half I keep in the soap dish has barely shrunk. I just ordered another scent of shampoo, and an unscented conditioner bar, as it's unlikely Ill use them both at the same rate, and the unscented can carry over to whatever shampoo bar I'm currently using. The only downside I can think of is if you might be scent sensitive, that could be a problem. I keep the other pieces in a bag in a closed drawer and I can still smell it. The citrus scent is tangerine, and I like it, but it might be a little much/a trigger for some people. Updated: If I had smelled the sweet sandalwood on the shelf, I would not have bought it. I like the citrus, though. The sweet sandalwood is too powdery and vintage for me. Luckily had ordered an unscented conditioner bar since i will go through shampoo faster than conditioner. Good product and Ill use it up; would not order this scent again.

Absolutely love this shampoo and the other products I've purchased from this company. This shampoo is wonderful! Makes my [grey] hair soft, shiny and very manageable. My hair is a bit thin on top but full in the back and was a bit worried because it's listed as voluming but it was perfect for my combination hair helping to volumize the thin parts but smooth the thicker parts. Scents are great! They are suttle and not overpowering. Great lather. Easy to rinse. No waste. While I can't attest to less hair loss (I have a thyroid condition that contributes to that), I can say I see lots of new hair growth. Will keep using and plan to purchase more when needed. In addition, I now have my son using it and his dry scalp is gone. He has very dry thick course hair and it works great for his hair too.

Before today I would have given 5 stars in a heartbeat, however that changed. I’ve finished 2 shampoo bars so far and they have performed amazingly. This is the first and only product I’ve tried that my husband has truly enjoyed (I’m posting on my hb’s acc), and I can honestly say that I’ve found the perfect shampoo after trying different ones all of my life. The 5 star factor of this product is that I used to lose clumps of hair each shower, but only after about a month that has gone down significantly and the only thing that changed was using this shampoo/conditioner. Also, each bar lasts my husband and I close to two months. I rarely use much of the conditioner bar as my hair gets quite oily and the conditioner is very moisturizing, not to mention a little goes a very long way (same for the shampoo). Now, the only con I’ve found about the product is the scent of the bars and the descriptions of the scents. The first bar I ordered was the sweet sandalwood, and it was amazing however there was nothing sweet about the scent. The second bar was cool breeze and that’s the bar I would say is true to the description of the scent. I just ordered my third bar, simple fresh, and it’s a completely different scent than what is shown on the picture. I was expecting “herbal/citrus/wood” (as the photo says), but I received a “fresh bittersweet mint” scent. The name of the bar is exactly the same but the scents are not. I was expecting some mint scent, but not a strong bitter mint scent. We’ll still be using the bar but I wish that the descriptions were a bit more accurate. Despite the scent descriptions being off, my husband and I will absolutely continue to reorder the shampoo/conditioner bars. As I said earlier it reduced my hair loss significantly, and it leaves my hair feeling soft and clean like never before. It’s the shampoo I’ve been searching for my whole life. When my husband tried it out the first few times he came out of the shower excited to tell me how much he enjoys it. That being said, if you’re on the fence I would say absolutely give this product a try. Just be prepared for a slightly different scent than what you might have imagined.

I’ve hated every single shampoo bar I’ve tried until this one. Leaves hair thoroughly clean without being dry and brittle. My hair is soft and silky. I really appreciate the unscented version for my sensitive skin.

I'm a professional that has female clients losing their hair as they are getting older. Like, early 40s. I realized my hair was thinning too! I started the hunt. I would use the whole bottle and check for sprouting hair. With no success. I tried biotin and other pills with no success... Well, I did get thicker hair... All over my body. And it was after I was doing at home laser treatments. It was HORRIBLE and I don't suggest it. It's not like pills target your scalp specifically. When solid shampoo was first invented through LUSH, I tried it and hated it. This was over a decade ago. However, I looked at the ingredients and believed this could be next option to try and I started using it. It was so easy and it was sudsy, especially on the second shampoo which I always do and suggest. Usually, on the second shampoo, you use significantly less product but should rinse thoroughly. SO EASY AND SUDSY. My whole family has converted. Well, right after I started using the bar, I learned I was pregnant. Which means, your body stops all hair from falling out until about 3x months postpartum. Also, it meant that I couldn't use my laser hair removal to reverse all the hair growing pills I tried. Well, the description and testimonials from this product claim that no hair will be lost when the postpartum shed is due. I usually lose ~150 hairs per shower. I ALWAYS HAVE. I wash 1x a week and perform a manual scalp dry brushing. No hair will grow with an unhealthy scalp. Scalp care is very important. Now I lose less than 75! Well, I had the baby and on my first day back to work I showered in the morning and THE POSTPARTUM SHED started! However, it WAS NOT severe as it was in my last pregnancy when I was in my early 30s. I was impressed. Two moths later and my family of 3x people who use it, we are on our third bar. ALSO, I check for regrowth all over my scalp and I CAN SAY that there is a consistent patter of 1" growth that's sprouted. My pony tails are thicker than they have been in over 6x years (sans pregnancy) and I can say that I thoroughly have tested this product on myself and it works. I can't gate keep this. Remember, scalp care is paramount for this product to be successful.

This product is ok. I know it’s better for you or whatever but here’s my experience. I’ve used it 4 times and the first time it was awesome, the second time it was good, but the third and fourth time it was not so great. My hair is fine but I have a lot of hair so I can’t really style it without putting a crap ton of hairspray or sea salt spray in it, so when I first used it it made the texture really nice and full , second time was the same but after that it just made my hair heavy and I noticed it got oily faster. I used my normal shampoo and my hair felt cleaner and more full and light . Ultimately I’ll use this bar up and alternate with my regular shampoo. My goal was to use this bar up completely but I just couldn’t stand the heaviness after the third and fourth wash. I’m impatient with stuff like that. It does smell good and lather well. It’s pretty expensive though say if you want to have several different scents to play with, which for me is another downside.
