Does what it says on the box!
Bought this 6 months ago. Ideal storage container. We have a medium sized dog and we buy the big 15k bags of dried food. This is ideal for storing it. The scoop which comes with the tub is very handy and measures out 150g of food - which is exactly what he eats per meal. It sits comfortably within our utility room, is pretty robust and is wipe clean also - handy when he shakes himself dry in his room! Decent price also and delivery cost didn't rise dramatically - which is pretty good when you consider size of object. The seal is still strong on the box too - which keeps the food nice and fresh.

Bought this for my greedy Doberman........A fantastic storage bin which is air tight and even comes with a handy scoop which fits into the lid. Would recommend this over any cheaper products as its well made and good value

pet food storage bin
I would like to have known that it would not be suitable to store outside because I wouldn't have chosen this particular item. I bought a large container so I could leave it outside and the food would stay dry - the food does stay dry, but when you open the lid, rain water pours in at the hinge edge, straight into the container and onto the food. I've had a lot of waste pet food because of it so feel a little disappointed. It is good and sturdy for indoor use however and the scoop is stored neatly on the under side of the lid and therefore easily accessible.

Very Disappointed
There were quite a few mixed reviews on this item, but it was the size of container that we required. so I went ahead and ordered.I have to say that I think this is very poor value for money. I fail to see the point of the rubber seal around the top opening of the container when the remaining body of the top just sits loosely onto the base of the container!!I would advise anybody considering purchasing this item to spend there money on a suitable sized kitchen waste bin, which I should have done.

Practical and Sturdy Storage
Best things about this container are the size - for large bags of dog food with room to spare, the lid - because it is easy to open and has the scoop attached to the lid. Shame it doesn't come in a more attractive colour but otherwise a good buy!

The bin is sturdy but does not clip closed securley
bin not closing securely the dogs are able to open the lid needs to clip closed to stop my dogs smelling the food and opening the box
