I decided to try this before I run out of Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer. I haven't loved that, but it was expensive and I developed some methods of making it work OK for me until it runs out but I definitely needed to find something else. I have combination skin. It's very difficult to find a foundation that works on my entire face. I use good quality loose minerals so I don't want or need a heavy foundation. Tinted moisturizer is perfect in concept, but it has been challenging to find the right one... until now. This Bare Minerals Natural Matte is perfect!What I love:It offers good coverage that isn't too little or too much (better than LM)It minimizes my pores (LM did not!)It moisturizes the dry areas but doesn't make the oily areas more oily (LM was not good on the oily parts)It doesn't pool up on the oily areas of my face and cause them to look shiny (LM pools and causes shine)It lasts all day with very little maintenance needed on an average day at the office. (LM req'd maintenance)What I don't love:It's a little pricey but no worse than what I was already buying. It's a good product so worth it to me.I apply this with a very small makeup brush. Don't focus too much on what the manufacturer calls the brush. Look for a brush about 1/4 inch wide or so. Sponges absorb very expensive makeup and so do fingers. I like the brush because it isn't absorbent. Using a small brush gives me lots of control, helps me blend evenly, and doesn't waste any product. I give it a few minutes to set on my face, then I apply loose minerals lightly over my entire face and I'm set for the day.Overall, I highly recommend this, particularly if you have combo skin like me and don't like heavy pore-clogging foundation.

I love this stuff and I buy dior makeup because it helps my acne and oily skin. This soaks right in and works as a great base or on its own as a wonderful sunscreen for pool days. I don’t burn and my skin looks great! I swear it’s making my skin look better as I wear it. I may not need the super pricey CD makeup by the end of summer!

Love the lightweight feel and how easily it blends. Doesn't feel oily or caked on. Color matches my complexion perfectly.

It does not spread like moisturizer. That's the minus of a star. I have found it best to apply it with a makeup brush after actual moisturizer.It is sheer but still magically covers so I like that. It feels light. I swear my skin is smoother since using it.Would definitely buy again. I'll need another shade when the winter comes and I lose my tan.

Sunscreen protection with a light tint. I can wear it alone for casual days or mix it with my foundation. Smooth and creamy.

Irritates my skin. It’s separated into an oily liquid and a thick peanut butter substance. I can’t get it to mix together no matter how hard I shake , squeeze and mess with the tube. My skin doesn’t like whatever is in this bottle. Gets itchy and irritated. Leaves red dry skin patches. I’ve used this product for years but I’ve bought the regular kind. This is the first time I’ve tried the matte one. Not for me since it irritates my skin but I’m also not sure it’s good product bc of the way the product is separated into its consistency.

Nice sheer matte moisturizer

This product is okay but I wouldn’t repurchase.My skin is quite oily and this isn’t as matte as I’d hoped. It also oxidizes on my skin and gives a slightly orange hue. The coverage is pretty good and it’s comfortable but just not for me personally.
