Happy with the purchase.
So I got this monitor as a primary monitor, although i have a lg ultragear 27gr75q, which is a 1440p 165hz ips monitor. Which is tilted beside this monitor on the photo.First impressions, the box came seal packed, just a minor tear on the downside of the box. No damages on the product and everything was on its place. The monitor is just an wide version of a normal 27inch monitor.Pros:1. The monitor has a bright display of 300nits as mentioned on the product but in real it feels even more (~350nits). I have to dim the brightness of this monitor in my room.2. It has a good build quality and has very little wobble which is good at its price point.3. The screen is manufactured by lg themselves and not from BOE which some lg monitors have.4. HDR effect is good.5. Little to no heating issue.6. This thing has speakers on it too! Which ofcourse aren't something you're gonna rely on, but it's nice to have.7. The monitor has very very little backlight bleeding. If you want something close to an oled panel on budget, this is the one!8. It has pretty decent viewing angles (over 120°) as compared to other curved va panels.8. The menu is very user friendly.Cons:1. The major con is the response time. It has a response time of 5ms as va panels are slow as compared to ips and tn. You won't be able to use this for competitive gaming like valo and csgo. Also it doesn't has any frc setting. It is only good for the aaa titles and story games. The HDR effect does seem to lessen the response time a bit (which i recommend you use) but it still feels above 3ms.2. The next con is the color depth which is of 8-bit. Maybe if you haven't used a 10 or 12bit display before, you won't be able to tell the difference. But coming from a premium ips display, i could straight forward notice the difference in the color depth. Atleast a 10-bit display would have been appreciated at this price.3. This monitor doesn't have swivel movement on the stand which might be bothering for some.4. The default color adjustments are just very bad. You should change them to other presets on the menu or calibrate them manually. The HDR is good though.5. Curvature is quite less. Maybe a 1500R curvature would have been a bit more immersive!Overall, the product is decent for basic tasks, single player games like rdr2, Tsushima, god of war, etc. feel really mesmerizing on this wide display. However make sure you have a decent gpu as this will require more graphics power than a conventional 27inch display. Also watching movies is great on this as movies are generally shot at 21:9 aspect and it completely covers up the screen. I wouldn't recommend this for fps games. Also don't buy this for consoles as consoles don't support ultrawide resolution.Coming to me, i prefer lg as I've been using their products from a long time and have no complaints. Plus their customer support is also top tier. So I chose this over other option like msi, Zebronics, acer. And i am quite happy and satisfied with the product. That's all i had to say of this. Thank you for reading!

Good for productive purpose
I have been using this monitor for more than a year now and recently bought the second. Stacked them and enjoyed it. I got rid of two more 24-inch monitors now. The quality is good, the colors are good and the sound is good enough for temporary entertainment. I do not play games so cannot say about that. But, if you do some serious productive tasks where you require multiple monitors then go for it. value for money, comfort and give you more space on your workstation.

Outstanding monitor
I expected nothing less at this price range. It has good refresh rate. I don't know about colour reproduction but HDR is excellent. Refresh rate is awesome, games run really smooth.I use it primarily for programming and data visualization tasks. I can now comfortably load two or three windows and also have documentation visible when I code

Pathetic Customer Service
I ordered three products from Amazon last month. All three were expensive to my budget. A monitory from LG for 36K, a home theatre from Sony for 9K and a headphone from Sony for 13K.It is very important to mention that all the three were from the same seller. Appario PVT LTD.The LG monitor was delivered in broken condition and I returned it. The Sony headphones had lot of issues with Bluetooth connectivity and I had returned it. Then comes the Sony Home Theatre. It worked well for one week as if it was waiting for the return window to expire and stopped working within 10 days. I approached Amazon to check if it can be returned, but no.My concern is slightly different than products being defective.1. All the three products from the same seller were defective.2. Amazon did not want to support return just two days after the return window.3. Most important observation is with LG monitor. The moment I purchased the monitor, it was unavailable in the stock, meaning I purchased the last one in the stock. I was following it up for a week and it never returned to the stock. When I received the damaged product, I raised a return and Amazon picked it up. Withing hours of return pick up, the product came back in stock (Only 1 available) to be ready to be shipped in 2-3 days. Does this somewhere mean that the seller will ship the broken monitor to someone again? Because - the the monitor was packed very well when I received it and I do not think the damage was not in the transit. I am almost convinced that the seller shipped the damaged product to maintain the cashflow. Amazon may need to review these things to ensure that the customer satisfaction is not impacted.4. Coming to the Sony Home Theatre - There is not one problem, there are many. Bluetooth does not work withing 10 days. Remote control works occasionally. Automatically goes to standby mode while running and then doesn't start for a day. I have now given it to Sony Service Centre (yes within 15 days of purchase) and I suspect that product was a refurbished one. I will wait for Sony's feedback on that and then will action accordingly.I will edit this comment with a comment from Sony Customer Service as soon as I have it.
