The radioluminiscence is minimal, mine was defective, and they do not accept returns, so they sell defective junk. Amazon should not allow them on the site.

high quality compass
I have owned and used several others compasses. Each was decent enough in their application.The military tritium compass is a proven high quality item that surpasses any of the others I have used. It is very rugged and durable since it is made for the military. Quite easy to use and great in low light/night conditions.Unless I loose it, this will be the last compass I will need.The only improvement would be to make the numbers and increments larger for easier sighting. It is somewhat expensive, but you usually get what you pay for,quality is quality.
