Simple yet complicated
For a piece of plastic with strings it seems complicated and can be frustrating but for sure it fixed the problem. Has nothing to do with product it’s just how it’s designed to work from bmw no fault of manufacture of product. Product is very good but install will require you to take a deep breath n focus. Glad someone has the product for us diy guys who like to save money and do the work ourselves without taking it to a shop. Much appreciated 5 stars for product only 2 for bmw install headache🤣

They Work - But Installation ...
These worked for me - with some tweaks that might help you: > If your batwing lines/string are mostly intact, buy some new line or shoe laces and restring exactly where your old lines are (SO much easier than reinstalling all the eyelets and new lines). Then remove the long bottom line (two connections - middle and bottom) from this part. Keep the topmost line; that's easy to install. > Check YouTube for videos, but using your own line makes adjustments easier; tie off the middle connection and then use the bottom one to adjust until you tie off that one too. > Get and use fabric adhesive; the strips on these are insufficient. Sand the plastic first to increase adhesion. Adhering the headliner to the plastic wings will be the last thing you do btw. > Take your time and be patient, especially on the first side you tackle. The line routing isn't too complex but I wouldn't want to figure it out without the benefit of the preexisting lines. > Get ready to be a contortionist...maybe do this before you eat a big dinner. > Good luck!
