The Four Horsemen: Food and Wine for Good Times from the Brooklyn Restaurant

A wonderful cookbook and tribute to one of my favorite restaurants in the world. Love the wonderful writings about wine and gorgeous recipes and tidbits about service too. Four Horsemen forever!

I have only had a chance to make one recipe, the celery, walnut, date salad. Served it for Christmas party and every single person asked for the recipe. Can’t wait to make everything else. If you have eaten at the Four Horsemen, you know that every single dish is delicious. So great to know I have such amazing recipes! So many restaurant cookbooks are way too complicated for a home cook, but these recipes are Very do able. FYI, fennel pollen is available from Amazon…

I never review...but I couldn't let this one go without notice. We had a meal here last month and it was probably one of the top 5 meals ever. So I came home a purchased this cookbook as a nice memory. Too often these restaurant cookbooks are way beyond mere mortals, but this book is incredible. Each recipe I have tried has been delicious and everyone I have served has asked for the recipes (Sweet Corn Salad was beyond amazing). Don't pass it up!

Excellent recipes that are interesting and also totally cookable...awesome, funny, sweet stories...really lives up to the hype.

Such a great cookbook! Great writing, solid recipes, and a perfect way to get inspired in the kitchen. Go get this if you haven't already.

This was a present but I’ve been told it is very good with great recipes

Just received the book today. Did not read the book so cannot comment on the content. But the first page of the book was torn and the last page was not stuck properly. Very disappointing as I had bought this as a present for a friend.
