Logan Lucky 4K Ultra-HD [Blu-ray]

Quirky, funny. Feels like a Cohen Bros film.
Steven Soderbergh has a knack for pacing in story, and this is no exception. Lucky Logan is a great blend of the ridiculous and the heart-warming that doesn't beg for your undivided attention, but allows you to focus as much as you want and still be satisfied.Channing Tatum and Adam Driver are two close-knit brothers who, through a mix of quixotic planning and blind luck, accidently pull off the heist of the century. All the supporting characters have fascinating personalities and story arcs that really endear you to the whole thing, as well as being hilarious throughout. Both Daniel Craig and Seth McFarland have been given enough time with the script to really get the opposite accents (mostly) embedded, and not have it seem affectations on their characters. The dialog can get a little mumbled in places, and it lacks some quick-cutting or close-ins that sometimes the tense situations demand, but really, you'll enjoy it!A genuine 12 certificate, although probably would only interest 16+.

Left Arm & Left Turn, Lucky!
A fun, entertaining U.S style heist movie. I need not say anymore, lest I give some regular folk out there heisting ideas. (Please don't do that) That wouldn't do. Buy, watch and indulge in Logan Lucky. Good cast, surprisingly little to no violence at all, which is its own good thing in this more cerebral heist. good to see, Dan Craig trying something outside of Bond, as no one wants to be type cast. Keough is great too. Cool Swank cameo, some Avenger/SW alum and more people I can't remember all cool (no offense, names I must remember). Camera work is interesting at times, but what I expect. Overall, its good to know that if I ever do well in life, I'll see those who've been good to me, carefully chosen, well too, without having to heist or going poor, myself. Make your own luck, as this movie is the only way you'll make a fast buck. Enjoy!

Good film that I downloaded & watched repeatedly during an impromptu week abroad without wi-fi
Have watched this film in excess of 12 times now, it has me laughing over & over..Hardly aware of any of the cast when I pretty much randomly downloaded this to my kindle a few months ago, & having watched it through once, knew how easy it was to pick up pretty much anywhere throughout the excellent, soft rolling storyline.Recently we went on holiday over Xmas to an awful place that left us high & dry for internet (despite claims of connectivity) the result being that I watched this film over & over (plus one other) whilst travelling in either direction & late sleepiness nights & downtime inbetween... It never failed to keep me amused. It's not high octane, nor chock full of explosions & gunfire, being shrewd in a slower pace West Virginia kicked back lifestyle (often through necessity) ..& therein lies both the charm & the ace up the sleeve, which makes me think this is one of the best, intentionally Humphreys heist films since the original British robbery film "The Italian job".I do wonder why Katie Holmes was cast (unnecessary expenditure) when pretty much any female actress could have played & pulled off the part of the leads ex wife living a more comfortable life with their kid & new husband, but that isn't to detract from the flow & performances in place by the other cast members...It is free to download / view on prime currently (Sept 2018 thru Jan 2019) ..& I'd strongly urge you to watch it at least once, ..now off to buy it on DVD for my home cinema projector collection). No qualms giving it a 5 star rating.Hope you get some chuckles & belly laughs out of it too.

Ok just not memorable and a little slow going
It has a few gentle funny moments but no real plot and I can’t really remember what it was about even now! It’s just a bit of a novel short film of people acting peculiar. Neither bad nor that good.

Enjoy!
Don’t get me wrong this film isn’t without its flaws. Some pacing issues and flat dialogue, which I’m surprised the actors don’t pick up on. Dead pan delivery only works with a well developed character which none of them really are. The Logan brothers are interesting characters, however we are left to our own imagination to how they got to where they are.Despite all this it’s a very enjoyable film, Daniel Craig is brilliant, there are some great cameos and Seth Mcfarlane’s English accent is brilliant. The story unfolds unexpectedly and Steven Soderbergh’s direction is top notch with a touch of the Coen brothers. The stand out for me is the music score, the overused Fortunate Son track actually fits the film for a change. What I did find really refreshing there was absolutely no swearing and the violence is minimal. You leave the film with a positive feeling!

Did you say Cauliflower to me?
I was tired and in a bad mood when I got home from work and wanted to watch a film, didn't know what to watch and saw this for rent £1.99.I knew nothing about the film, but really like the cast. I absolutely loved this film! I actually rewound bits to watch again they were so good.Channing Tatum and Adam Driver are amazing in this film, with Daniel Craig in a truly epic co-staring role that he clearly was having massive fun with. Seth MacFarlane tries to play an Englishman and is shite, I was very offended, but the character was such a tool it actually worked.I would highly recommend this film for a fun night in with a takeaway and some beers or with your mates and a large pizza.

Logan Lucky
Great caper with a very good cast including Channing Tatum, Adam Driver and Daniel Craig. Good plot, well directed and Hilarious. A really good all-rounder. At first glance it appears our bandits are well meaning if not a little inept, very soon you'll be smiling, great feel good movie.
