Kingfisher BF029 Green Standard Suet Fat Ball Bird Feeder, Transparent, 9x9x31 cm

The build quality of this bird feeder seems decent - the hook, lid and overall structure seems solid.It was easy to hook this on and fill it with standard sized suet fat balls. The lid easily flips up.I've also hooked a tray to the underneath of this to catch loose bits and the bottom is strong enough to support this.

Had plastic feeders in the past but they tend to be sun affected and break.These metal units are very strong and work very well for their intended purpose.

I ordered the Kingfisher Green Standard Suet Fat Ball Bird Feeder to replace one that had finally fallen apart! This arrived in good time and is a reasonable size fitting 4-5 fat balls inside depending on the size of the fat balls! It is easy to fill and hang from the tree using the fitted handle provided on top. The feeder is made from strong wire covered in plastic type of materials so should prevent rusting and be sturdy enough to last for a few years. The lid on top is loose and easy to open but helps to keep the rain off - I doubt it will deter squirrels but the birds seem to be beating them to most of the food so don't begrudge the squirrel if he manages to get some treats too!The birds can hang on to the wire and reach through to peck at the fat balls easily regardless of whether they are big or small and are happily devouring the fat balls - they love the food and I love to watch them so happy birds and happy me!

It was ok for the price but I don`t think it will last very long. Arrived quickly but without sufficient packaging.The lid was cracked around the edge and does not now close tightly. An easy supply for the squirrel!

O how the birds love this feeder they spend hours on it begging for seed.I fill it with food balls they eat it when I'm not there watching.It's all gone when I do and they're all lined up on my fence looking at me angrily 😠Feed me Sign up and everything...I got fed up with the starlings nicking all the food at 6am before I'm up up watch..Feeder now in the summer house.The birds can do one.Honestly they're OK made well good feeder.

B. im Eimer)- Leicht und schnell zu befüllen- Längerer Vorrat, muss seltener nachgefüllt werden (ca. 4-5 Knödel)- Witterungsbeständig wegen Kunststofflackierung- Viel Platz, hier können gleichzeitig mehrere Vögel daran fressenIch habe zwei davon unter mein Futterhäuschen mit Schraubhaken gehängt. Durch das höhere Gewicht bei maximaler Befüllung, muss man für einen sicheren Halt sorgen. Folgende Vögel sitzen bei mir bevorzugt an diesen Fütterungsstationen: Meisen (Koh-l, Blau- und Schwanzmeisen), Spatzen (Feld), Spechte (Buntspecht und Mittelspecht) und sogar Stare. Herunterfallende Stücke werden dann noch von Buchfinken, Grünfinken, Fasanen und Amseln aufgepickt.
