Would Recommend!
Connects my led lights very well. It was difficult to open so I had to use my nail but it got easier the more I used it. I also brought up the prongs with the sharp end of a knife and then inserted the lights to make sure it connected properly. The only problem is that after I would connect the lights, they wouldn’t be the same shade of the color as the lights connected to the wall. That could be because it couldn’t connect completely but it doesn’t really bother me though. Other than that, it works super well and I would recommend!

Good buy! Much needed!
These things were lifesavers when I accidentally ripped my sons led lights while trying to install them. They ripped from the dotted lines so I was able to by these and the seller shipped next day and these were cheaper than the two day ones from the other sellers. This seller was my lifesaver for shipping next day as well! Lol. The installing it was a little tedious and took about 20 mins because the adhesive on the lights was already pulled off so it was hard sliding them in under the coils with the adhesive. But I finally got it and now all the lights work together! This was a helpful buy and now I have extras so in case any accidents happen I have them on hand! All for 5.88! Great!

READ ME. this is how I got these to work. still requires patience.
Bought the Daybetter LED strips 32.8 (ie really two 16.4s) then decided to split a 16.4 to attach to each end of the 32.8 so the LEDs could go all the way around my kids room. I had already installed the 32.8 which meant the halved 16.4 ends had to be installed while I was up on a ladder. I had ZERO success on my first attempt (nothing would slide in and stay and light up), and came back to it the next day with better lighting, a pair of needle nose pliers, and a tiny mustache trimmer type scissor. 1. It is difficult to get the led strip end to slide under the connectors. I slid the tip of the tiny scissor under each metal prong on the connector to allow the strip to slide under more easily and securely. 2. The strip slides in and stays in if you leave the paper covering the adhesive on the end that you are putting into the connector. Otherwise the adhesive just sticks to the connector and it doesn't want to slide in. Not a lot, just maybe a 1/4 inch or so. I actually trimmed the paper while it was on the newer strips so it was easy to peel off so I could stick it to the wall once the connecting was done. 3. It is also easier to use the plier for the fine jiggling required to get the strip to go into the connector far enough - ie you can't see the letters RGB when the connector is closed. I wasted at least a foot of lighting having to retrim because I couldn't get it to "go" on my first attempts. I hope this saves others some time and aggravation because all I could find were negative reviews with my same frustrations or others that made it sound like it was a skip in the park and it wasn't. My kid loves it and now my other kid wants them...

The work great, just get all the material around the pins removed.
These worked great. There are many different types of LED lights. To get these to work for ours we had to spend a little time preparing the strips to be connected, but these look seem less once we figured out how to cut the LED strips, and got the 4 pins exposed, and connected.

Don't waste your money
These don't work. We had FIVE different people try to hand these in my daughters college dorm room. The connectors are TOO sensitive, and one slight wrong move, and they go out. Very frustrating. Even an engineering major was unsuccessful to connect these. I bought the EXACT connectors that were recommended for the lights i bought. Very disappointed!!!

connecting LED strip
If you have a white light strips you can’t even see them. When you are connecting in LED strip to another one you have to lift up the little teeth with small tweezers or anything but not too strong just gonna leave a little nudge up

So So.
Not the best product to use. Kinda hard to install. Had to make adjustments to the rubber coating on light strip.

Alignment is everything! READ ON for detailed installation
I've read the good and bad reviews and took a chance on these. I've never spliced LED strips before so this was a first. The best advice I can give you is to do the splicing and joining BEFORE you install any part of an LED strip. Chances are LED light strips are going to be in awkward places (ceiling, under cupboards, etc) and trying to line up connections in less than ideal situations will be a royal pain in the butt.1. Connectors are somewhat difficult to open and close. But hey, on the flip side they hold the LED strip tight!2. Ensure you're matching the connections, in other words, make sure the 12v matches and is not reversed.3. When both ends of the connector are closed look at the LED tape going in and coming out, they'll need to be aligned perfectly otherwise you'll likely not have power on the extension. This is likely the part that most people who say they don't work fail on. There's no reason to say these don't work, they're just metal tabs that bridge a connection between 2 metal pads (your LED strips).4. If you have a multimeter you can check for continuity between your main strip and the extension. (look online for using a multimeter to check for continuity). This will ensure each tab of the joining connector is making it through to the other side. Now if you have aluminum tracks with diffusers, these connectors barely fit in the track which makes the diffusing lens difficult to install over the joining connector. I wasn't able to get a super tight fit of the diffusing lens, but it's not noticeable.Overall, I'm pleased with the product.
