Got this because I needed a nice simple and effective grow light that was within my budget. Currently using it for moss terrariums as the timer allows them to get JUST right amount of light these green plant pillows need, without being overly intense (or on too long, should I forget).Pros:- The clip is good, sturdy, seems to fit snug around the edge of the table.- The neck is flexible and not horribly stiff like I've had with some in the past.- I like the easy-to-use button control, pretty effortless to toggle through the brightness and timer settings.Cons:- Actually don't think I have any at the moment? So far so good! At best, I wish I could adjust the lamp part itself to stay horizontal/flat while extending the neck all the way out, but that's an itty bitty quibble and has work around.Ultimately for what I paid and the way I need it, this is a great little product!

Growing cilantro indoors to avoid bolting outside in the hot weather, but the sunlight in my south facing window went too far north. I got this lamp because it had a single lamp, didn’t take up much room and would be easy to use. I like that it included a wall plug to USB adapter because I probably will never plug it into a computer. So far, this seems to work great! My only complaint is how small the type is on the instructions. I had to use a magnifying glass to read it. (See picture) I have just added a photo of what my cilantro sprouts looked like in a 9 inch wide pot after just 1 week using this light for only 12 hours per day.

I have purchased about five of these. I have dozens of house plants and my home does not get much natural light. These lamps keep my plants growing and healthy looking all year long. I purchased my first two of these about two years ago and use them for several hours daily, and they are still going strong. I don’t use the timer function often because I found it not all that easy to use. I just bought another one, so I’m hoping the timer function has improved as claimed. But they work well for my plants and are a great value. They are a little top heavy, but I love how bendy and adjustable they are. I can clip them just about anywhere.

This light is a very good quality item, solid and made well. I needed a low light source for a snake plant and this lamp is controlled by a dimmer that has five levels of brightness. The color feature is useful because red light encourages flowering and robustness while blue light supports green leaf growth. Each color can be used itself or a combination of both. Snake plants grow large with minimal light so this lamp gives me the control to use blue light at a lower level of brightness to control the plant size. Once the light is switched on four timer choices are available; constantly on, 3hrs, 6 hrs, and 12 hrs. The whole thing is powered by USB so it can be plugged into any USB source or any outlet by using the supplied USB adapter. This lamp perfectly met my needs for a grow light.

I bought the first of these lights her on Amazon (right photo) in October 2019, and as you can see, my Christmas cactus is thriving under the purple light. The second order solved a tricky problem - how to light a bromeliad under a side table without have the lighting source look too intrusive. So far, so good. Both orders were exactly as described by the vendor and arrived exactly at the time promised.

The directions are in Engrish. Reading them won't help much, they were obviously run through a bad machine translation algorithm.additionally from what I can tell...-There are no features for Warming (though the back of the LED gets very warm)-The timing has the light on and off but does not allow for auto brighten and auto dim. kist for on or off.-The Clip that holds the lamplight is cheap plastic and non-removeable, having it as a stand instead of a holder clip would have been cheaper and better.For 20 bucks, it does what it should in the barest minimum sense, it's still worth about what you paid for it. I got it cause it was cheap, and looked adequate for starting plants from seed. It seems to do that reasonably well so I can't find fault with its functionality but I can say that it COULD be a better product.

Pretty cool little light. I was worried it would be cheap and flimsy, but this light is pretty solid construction. Metal everywhere except the timer/dimmer/off switch, which is a lightweight plastic. Would have liked to have seen the same durable material on the switch, but that’s hardly an issue with how well the light performs. The clip is strong and larger than I expected, which is good because it doesn’t wobble on the pot. You can cycle between the red/blue/purple light and have the option for various dimming settings of each hue. Haven’t played with the timer much, but my succulent opened up nicely and is already reaching for the light.

Had a dying African Violet that wasn't getting enough indirect sunlight. Bought this light because of the adjustability and the correct light spectrum. Was worried that the timer wouldn't switch on each day, after seeing one customer complain that it wouldn't work for him over the weekend with his office plants. No problem. I started it at daybreak the first morning for 12 hour lighting. It turns itself back on every morning automatically.I'm very pleased. So is the violet.
