Works great!
It arrived on time , went on the grinder very easy and it cuts concrete like a beast.

It works!
Using this to clean up mortar from where the contractors built a cinder block wall too high. After knocking the block loose and removing it, this does a great job of getting rid of the extra mortar. Two words of advice though. When using it, try to position the wheel to "come off" an edge, not spinning where it could catch an edge. Second, do it on a breezy day, or wear a mask. The ground mortar will create a cloud that lingers around you, or at least use a cheap, junky fan. Can't comment on longevity yet, as I have only cleaned up about 20 feet of block, but even after that, the disc shows no wear.

Great for grinding concrete and cleaning up old thinset
I had to do some serious concrete removal, to do floor prep for tile on 2 separate areas that were previously separated by a wall during remodel. I had an old worn out one and wanted new to clean up the thin set from the removed tile. Great job cleaning the thin set. I had to grind down as much ad 1.5 inches in some spots.1/3 inch or less, I just used the grinding wheel. for the higher areas I made a level jig, and scored it with a 14" diamond blade and jack hammered some out. I'm not sure if that saved my time or not as the grinding wheel did very well. The score lines gave me a achieved depth indicator.I bought 2, as the price was right, but I'm not even close to wearing out the first, after "days" of grinding.it performed very well. It's definitely not a job for the feint of heart. The price was way better any any box store or harbor freight alternative. For minor leveling and cleaning up removed tile thin set residue this made short work of it. I tried a dust collector which was a waste of time. A helper with a light mist from a hose worked great keeping the dust down and did not make much of a mess.

last 5x as long for half the cost of Harbor Freight version
I had to grind my entire concrete patio to fresh concrete in order to resurface it. Bought the Bauer 7" diamond grinder from Harbor freight for $40. It was worn out after about 20% (150 SF) of the 750 SF patio was done. Bought 4 of these thinking if they are only $25 each, they would not last as long as the HF version. I ground the rest of the patio (650 SF) with ONE of these, and it hardly looks worn down. If you need to grind concrete these are the bomb!

Aggressive grinder!
I like it. Aggressive grinder to remove material quickly. Works well.

Working great for concrete grinding.
I needed this to level out high spots in a concrete slab to prep for new flooring. I am using a 7" Hitachi angle grinder. One of these have done about 50 L.F. of grinding with not too much wear on the tool. Surprisingly easy to keep level and no chatter using dry. Fit this with a dust shroud to vacuum like the Diment Power Universal Surface Grinding Dust Shroud.

Wear quickly
Ground a small area of clean, week-old, self-leveling concrete. Bought this 2 wheel pack and they were both completely worn out before completion. About an hour total run time (half hour each wheel). You get what you pay for. I used rigid and Makita wheels before on the same type of surface and they lasted 3 to 4 times longer but cost 4 times as much per each so I guess it's a wash except the pain of changing out the wheel. Worthwhile if you have a very small area or are just knocking down minor high spots.
