These are good quality scales. They are the perfect thickness for all kinds of applications. The have great color and works great for different handle functionality.

Beautiful wood very hard wood

My issue with this is that while it is Ironwood, likely, it is also not at all the grain style they show. The grain in this wood I received is extremely bland and common. As far as looks go I could achieve the same with significantly easier to find woods. Ironwood is still a very durable wood though.

Seems like pretty good quality. They are definitely solid and polish up very well. There is a chip out of the right side that was my fault from pushing drill bit too hard. Arrived on time in perfect condition and will continue to use these.

I ordered these for the first knife I've ever made. I'm still working on the process, but the scales are just what I needed. The grain is fairly simple and plain-looking, but the wood is durable, shapes well, and takes a very nice finish. Having a spare set of scales was great for my peace-of-mind, too.
