Pre & Post Natal Pilates Box Set: Pregnancy is an amazing time in a woman’s life and it is also a time of physical change. Current research shows that it is crucial for women to stay active during their pregnancy for their health and for the health of the baby. This Pre & Post Natal Pilates Box Set has been created by Pilates expert, Caroline Sandry, for women to practise while they move through the different stages of pregnancy, birth and post natal recovery. This DVD Set is comprised of 3 titles: Prenatal Pilates: Strengthen & Sculpt: (86 mins.) Filmed when Caroline was 17 weeks pregnant, the DVD consists of a 20 minute total body workout, a 20 minute standing workout and a 20 minute floor workout. In addition there is a warm up and a solutions section to address problems women may incur while pregnant, like swollen ankles or backache. Prenatal Pilates: Tone & Tighten: (122 mins.) Filmed when Caroline was 32 weeks pregnant, the DVD consists of a 37 minute Mat Workout, 28 minute Chair Workout, 25 minute Total Body Strength & Flexibility Workout, 19 minute Bonus Ball or Chair Workout, 6 minute Pregnancy Tutorial & 7 minute Relaxation. Post Natal Pilates: (84 mins.) Filmed when 20 weeks after her baby was born. It has been designed to practise progressively in different stages immediately after the birth or as soon as you feel able. The programme includes a detailed tutorial breaking down the stages. Stage 1 should be performed for a minimum of 2 weeks after the birth, Stage 2 should be performed after Stage 1 has been completed and you have passed the ‘rec-check’. You may start the Workout 1 or Workout 2 once you practised and passed Stage 1 & Stage 2. In addition, this DVD includes a workout for you and your baby.

Perfect for mums who don't really "do" excercise
As someone who is loathed to excercise, I found this set really easy to use. At the start of each dvd there's advice and helpful guidlines on how to get the most of excercising in pregnancy. I started using this dvd at 30 weeks and found it easy and not too strenuous. It's good value for money, you get 3 dvds in the set. I am finding the ball excercises very helpful at the moment for lower back pain or pain of just feeling like a whale. It's not forceful and quite calm and easy to pick up. I am looking forward to giving the post natal dvd a go once baby is here. So I would definitely recommend this title. Especially for women who don't really "do" excercise.

Good dvd for all stages
Really like the different options in this dvd. Some sessions are 20 minutes, some are longer. Good to have sessions tailored to each stage of pregnancy and after. Lost one star just because sometimes the pace feels too slow inbetween exercises (or maybe I’m just impatient!)

Has been a lifesaver for my back
Love this dvd. Has really helped me to stave of sciatica and lower back pain during my pregnancy. Suffered really badly last time and ended up with a bad back for 6 months. These exercises work on the same muscles that the physio exercises I had to do did too and I feel really strengthened and stable. Mixture of short and longer routines so easy to fit into busy life (with toddler). I do a 20 min one as soon as I get up before work then try to do the longer ones at the weekend. I can feel a real difference. Even when I wake up with aches and pains and don't feel like doing it I feel much much better after. Only need a mat and some weights (I use bean cans). I have never done pilates before and easy to get into.

Love it :)
I love the way she explains all the exercises. Why we are doing the exercise, which muscle will it benefit, why is it good for a pregnant woman... The only thing I would like to know is, can I do it every day, or just every other day. :)

Great
Moves are very well explained. They're not too easy or too difficult. I would definitely recommend. It's really helped me with my sciatica.

Good content, but a bit fast.
I’ve only had this a week and am 16 weeks pregnant with quite a big bump! I enjoy all of the exercises but the only negative is that I feel that she does the exercises very quickly, so to keep up I have to move faster than I would in a Pilates class. Good so far and hopefully it’ll help strengthen my muscles for the next 6 months! I also like the extras and have done these too.
