Does heat up so do not use with littles.
Love this colorful lava lamp. Easy to assemble and very entertaining for the price. Not meant to brighten but fun to watch. Made well and made to entertain. Stable when placed in. Safe place. Check insta because they do get hit and should be shut off after a period of time. Nice and unusual gift. Love this. ❤️

Old School meets New School
This is excellent version of a LAVA lamp I had in my youth, like it so well I bought two. Good fair price on these after Christmas. This is well built, great accent to any room and not to bright to disturb the ambience of the space.

Murky and low level water
I don’t recommend buying a lava lamp from Amazon. I’ve owned one before and never had a problem with it. In fact, I owned mine for almost 25 years, having purchased it from a brick and mortar retailer. So there’s nothing wrong with the BRAND itself. I do wonder how long they may be sitting in an Amazon fulfillment center… This particular red lamp arrived with a bulb that blew within 10 minutes. I got a new bulb—no problem. However, the water was murky. I followed the instructions for care/maintenance to the T, but the water never cleared. I’m returning for a full refund and will purchase a new one at a brick and mortar store instead. I always read reviews but went on my own history with LAVA Lamp. I think it’s best to take ALL into consideration with a middle man. Lesson learned.

Takes about 2 hours to get going but that’s just how lava lamps work. It does get hot but not insane. It’s a classic lava lamp, with a fun volcano theme. Relaxing and retro. I find myself staring at it instead of watching/playing whatever is on my TV. Good red wax colour with orange liquid. Keep out of reach of small kids, accident prone adults or rowdy pets.

I thought this lava lamp may be a bit bigger than it actually is, but still very pleased with the purchase. We've had this for eight months and had it switched on continuously (didn't realize that it should only be on for 10 hours max a day)! The bulb did burn out after about 7 months of continued use, but I was able to easily order a replacement bulb from Amazon.

El foco nunca prendio por lo tanto nunca fuciono, acabo de pedir nuevos focos para ver si esto es el problema. Me llegan el domingo y vulvo a calificar nuevamente. Con el nuevo foco que compre , si fuciono la lampara, mucahs gracias
