I have terrible ridges in my nail! This got rid of MOST of them, but the shine, when you use the other side, is really nice. They look like you have polished with clear coat😁

These really do make your nails shine almost as much as clear polish - BUT there is not the chipping or removing and reapplying as with polish. The smooth shine really does last a week even for those of us who actually USE our hands, it's a great alternative to the hassle of polish or expensive manicures. It's really easy to get the shine - do circular motions as well as back and forth and in 10 - to 15 minutes while watching TV or whatever you will have beautiful nails. I suspect it works best for hard nails like mine but softer, thinner nails will shine up even more quickly. My only complaint is that they should include a few boards for heavy duty sanding (these are polishing boards only) so I can smooth off the edges after cutting my hard nails. But these are good quality and will probably last me the rest of my life...

OK guys, forgive me but I take care of my nails. I remember as a teenager, a guy that the girls were all over, gave me some advice. He said to take of your nails, that chicks notice that. Have clean hands and nails that you take care of. It has worked quite well and I'm 71. I have been to nail places for manicures, but have done it myself for the last 40+ years. these things will rough up the surface then buff it to a shine that looks like I have clear polish on - I don't do that polish thing. My wife is impressed and uses them too.

I love these and having so many means they are stashed everywhere I go-car, purse, makeup drawer, bedside table. Much quicker than painting my nails and healthier!

I’ve always painted my nails with gel at home. But in nursing school polish if any kind is not allowed. I’ve tried a few buffers and they were great for the first few nails, but by my next hand there was hardly any sheen on my nails at all. This buffer is quick & easy. And this was the second time I’d used this buffer and it was just as shiny the second time on all my nails. I’ve had classmates mention days later how good they thought my nails looked. It makes it look like I’m wearing a top coat.
