First thing I noticed was these are half the size of the clothes pins I had wanted and had used in the past. I was moving to another country where I would be hanging my wash on the line and needed clothes pins after a lifetime of dryers. I am now down in Costa Rica and I can tell you these are junk clothes pins. They break apart constantly. I throw away five or six with every wash. They do hold the clothes on the line but I will have run out of them by Christmas. I had no idea someone could built a junk clothes pin that that is what I bought. Hopefully I can find replacements down here. I would never buy these again, and if I lived in the US I would send them right back. How can China screw up a clothes pin? And yet, they have.

I bought these particular clothespins as they were labeled by Hechay USA. THEY ARE MADE IN CHINA! This is false advertising. Every wooden clothespin that I have bought over the last few years has been made in China and they all fall apart after limited use. I figured these would be better quality if they were made in USA. I didn't mind paying a little more for a quality product. Don't waste your money!

Literally 2/3 of these clothespins were very wobbly when opening them. The metal hinge is wider than the wood halves inside it, and so except for the few where the metal was crimped extra close, they felt ready to twist apart during use (I threw those 2/3 away). Two stars instead of one because the wood feels strong, dense, and smooth, and the metal hinge wire is thick and springy/strong. But I'm going to the dollar store next time.

Thought for the price they would be heavy duty. However, the metal hinges slip out of the gruve, and not as tight as needed. Very disappointed. Would return if I had not threw away the packaging.

I like the wooden clothespins-handy for many things, especially my outside line in the summer. Good quality. Like the natural feel of wood.Only a 4 as I wonder how strong the clothes pins are. Noticed a couple times they come apart if you hang them on a plastic hanger. Best to use it on a line or something fine.

These are not sturdy one bit. I could have avoided paying that price for the quality. Lower end stores sell the same item for a lot less.Sorry. Not happy with the quality that was stated. Too expensive. Arrived on time.

Wooden clothespins like they used to make back in the 50's

Never ever thought I'd review a clothespin purchase. Lol. But these things fall apart like crazy. Barely last through two or three hangings. They SUCK! I've thrown away the packaging so can't even remember where they were made. Probably by slave labor at the behest of a neo-colonial behemoth. Buy American, if you can.
