Just received it today so really don’t know about lightweight thickness or it’s breath ability, it doesn’t seem to breathable though, etc. it will be heat index of 105 tomorrow however I will not be able to use it on my gelding who I bought it for. He Measures a 76 and since this isn’t made in 76 I had to order a 78 bc 75 would’ve been too small however the 78 is entirely too big for him. The top of the tail flap which should be by tail bone is halfway down his tail and his straps for under the tail is at his Hocks. So disappointed bc this does look to be good quality sheet even though I cannot use it on him to judge the breath ability and if helps him any with his horrible fly allergy. But I would suggest buy a smaller size than your horse measures. Most of his blankets and sheets are either 76 or 78s depending on the brands so I figured since he measured 76 and only closest option not smaller than 76 was 78 I bought it. But I cannot use it on my gelding bc what’s probably suppose to be on center of his back is folded over the back end of him at tail head. Really disappointed bc he really needed relief from flies. If this would’ve fit I would have given 5 star even before him using it bc quality looks good and look breathable. It’s also so big the opening of top of hood that’s suppose to be under throaatch is even with his chest so I would assume flies would just fly right inside of it bc another horse could fit its head in it it’s so big and open

Recent monsoon’s here in Tucson made for an explosion of insects, biting flies and mosquitoes. Poor horse was covered in welts, scratching herself all day, which no salve spray or concoction could reduce. Then the fly sheet with neck covering, mask that covers her ears and leg coverings arrived. She looked like a ninja, a happy ninja because the massive insect population couldn’t reach her.Very pleased with the products. She seemed cool enough even in 110 degree weather with high humidity (due to monsoons). The fitted leggings stay on better than other brands I’ve tried.

great quality product just be careful of the velcro. Around the chest buckles, the velcro on my sheet has torn up the sheet material.Also, this sheet has metal clasps on it and the chest one don't adjust as per the classic amigo way.

I love the attached neck and fit of this fly sheet it’s hard to find a fly sheet that is high enough over my thoroughbreds shoulders and doesn’t rub. This one had an almost satin like lining over the neck and mane areas to keep it from rubbing. Very pleased! Neck looks big but doesn’t fall down.

I have an OTTB colt. He destroys everything. Literally everything. Fences. Buckets. Stalls, blankets. This has been on him a week now. It's filthy but it's *still intact*. You can see the second "switch out" one on the gate. 6 + days and it has a few snags, totally a different color... but based on the fact it's not hanging in filthy tattered streamers from his body AND/or pieces of it are NOT dispersed through out his pasture--- I'm sold. Five stars!!!

I love this fly sheet! It’s very light weight so even when it’s very hot out my horses don’t sweat underneath like other fly sheets I purchased that material was too heavy. I also love the attached neck! There is no leg straps just a tail rope but I haven’t had a problem yet with any sliding to side.One thing is that be careful how light weight they are when washing be careful will rip easy!

Great brand, however fits slightly smaller ie 78” should be 76”. Otherwise very pleased with the product.

Bought this 6'6 rug for my 6'1 TBX and it fits well - not skimpy and wraps a little underneath also.Fastens easily and doesn't drag on the shoulder/neck area.It is only a fine, lightweight mesh, so it's cool to wear - but having had this rug a number of times before I know it snags and pulls a bit over time, ( don't let it get caught on any velcro!). My old boy looks after his rugs but younger, more boisterous animals will put it to the test! It does the job and is not overly expensive - it stays put comfortably so not a bad buy. It also washes & dries very easily which is a saving.IJA

Used these rugs for ages but unfortunately they have changed the fit and some of the features and it no longer fits my horse. The neck is far too long and hangs over her ears and it is too narrow in the front. Shame as it was always great before. Returned the rug.

Good fly rug. Quick to fit. Fits my large warmblood very well, nice and deep at the sides, doesn't dig in at the neck to the withers, which was an important aspect following my previous fly rug which wasn't so comfortable for him

Not as protective as a Boet type fly rug, but at least you dont have to put it on over the pony's head! My pony was fine with her Boet type UNTIL the day when the static zapped her ears as I removed the rug. Now she will not trust a rug going over her head.

Lovely light, cool rug. Good size 7ft ordered for 17.1h Warmblood. Plenty of coverage to keep fliers off! Excellent addition to summer wardrobe
