Not worth the money. Very poor quality wood which is stained with a cheap brown varnish. Hats don’t sit in it properly.

This helped clean up my husbands man hats! I ordered three packs and lined them all up in two rows rows.

I purchased three of these hat racks to store my scarves vertically. Unfortunately, the wood is quite rough and could easily snag a scarf that was being pulled off, so these will not suit my purposes. I'm sending them back. I think they'd be fine for hats - just nothing delicate or that could snag or pull.

This isn't the first amazon hat rack that I purchased, and now it isn't the only one that I'm returning.I don't know where they're finding the lightweight and fragile wood that they're using to make these, but those must be the flimsiest trees in the world. These are made of Balsa wood and feel like they won't last more than a few months at most.As opposed to some other similar hat racks, this particular one was sanded before it was stained and the color description was accurate. However, for the price paid, this was not worth it. Unlike the other hat racks, this one was not polyurethane sealed, so I would be concerned that the stain would leech into my hats over time. This would defeat the purpose of the hat rack if it ruins the hats.I've returned all of the Amazon-purchased wooden hat racks now, and for an hour of my time, I can fashion a better product than this (that is nearly identical) for the same price in tools and wood. I'm not a particularly handy person, but I refuse to pay this much money for such a terrible product. Hop on your favorite search engine and search for do it yourself hat racks. It won't be that hard and will only take a very short time.My only regret in returning this hat rack is that the wood is of such low quality that I am sure that they will be thrown away immediately upon being received by amazon. Its incredibly wasteful and I'm disgusted that someone would even charge more than $5 for these.

these are good and do the job, plus they were easy to install. However, I will say that they feel very cheap and I wouldn't recommend hanging anything heavier than a few hats on it
