A good well priced product.
Very good and quick and cuts easily through expanded polystyrene insulation.

excellent hot knife
I don't know how well this hot knife will last, but it seems robust. I wanted a hot knife for cutting man made fabric, i.e. to leave the edges melted so that they don't fray. It works very well for this, I've cut through fabrics from very thin to about 1.5mm thick. It is important to use a very solid sheet to cut against, not your normal cutting mat! I use my marble slab and that works very well, but I should have thought a sheet of metal would be equally as good.The foam plastic knife was a bonus and I got talked into making some play swords out of packaging. It goes through that like (ahem) a hot knife. Very easy to use and excellent results. One warning: only do this in a well ventilated area! I don't have any real use for the foam knife, but it's a nice bonus.

Excellent!
Bought this for cutting acrylic canvas and ropes and it’s brilliant. Gives a really clean finish to the cut. Heats up really fast and it’s quick and simple to change the blades. Great value for money.
