I have found my everyday sunscreen!
I have combo skin more to the oily side that is acne prone. I have tried countless SPF creams under my makeup, from low cost to high end, and they all made my skin greasier or did not mixed well with the foundation and my makeup would not last without retouch. I wear makeup everyday and sunscreen is a step that should never be skipped on your skincare routine. I saw a youtube video by MUA Nikki Larose where she recommends this sunscreen for oily skin. I looked it up and saw the price was excellent and decided to try and OMG I am so glad I did. This is everything I have been looking for. It has a gel like texture that absorbs quickly without leaving any white cast or stickiness. It dries fast and moisturizes the skin. It is perfect under makeup if anything it is a great primer. It works well with my foundations and it does not breaks me out. It is perfect. I will buy it from now on!

US Formulation is still good!
I have used the Biore japanese version before and have liked it. It left some sort of white cast but not very noticeable. This one is US formulation and I thought Biore couldn't pull off the same feeling since there limited by the regulationa of FDA for sunscreen but they did it! It still has that watery feeling like you're not wearing a sunscreen. It has less UV filters than the japanese formulation for sure but it still gets the jobs done. Im ok trading off the ease of getting it and the cheaper price.

Best sunscreen I’ve ever used.
This is amazing. Never found a sunscreen that layers on top of a moisturizer that doesn’t cause white cast or make my facial hair white. 10/10.

Good but the older version was better
If you're black this sunscreen won't leave a white cast at all, blends quickly. It's good. But it's not as good as the Japanese version I bought before. I don't know why they changed it. The old one ACTUALLY felt like water and had a cooling effect when applied and felt light weight. This one is still light , slightly cool, but when applying feels greasier. I still think it would be good on oily skin because it doesn't dry as greasy as most sunscreen.Over all good sunscreen but the other version was better

Can’t compare to the Japanese version
It is better than American facial sunscreens but the Japanese version is better. It smells like rubbing alcohol and takes a couple minute blend into the skin. Despite the alcohol in it, it is very moisturizing and absolutely not for oily skin + hot humid weather. If I recall correctly, the Japanese version blended in much easier and did not feel so sticky. This leaves a moisturized glowy finish on me and feels sticky. My hair sticks to my face from it. Even after applying makeup. It also makes my face slightly red, so it does irritate my sensitive skin. It does not sting my eyes or get into my eyes after sweating or physical activity though. It’s an odd formulation.

Does not pill/flakes when applied over serums/creams, no white cast, invisible after application.
Formulated and Made In Japan. I have used South Korean sunscreens and my personal experience is that this Made In Japan BIORE sunscreen performs much better. Here's what I do to maintain my skin and protect it from sun and environmental damage: I double cleanse (DHC oil cleanser then La Roche Posay Foaming Cleanser) then prep my face, neck, and decolletage, following the several-step K-Beauty routine by applying clear, liquid serums of 2.5% Retino,l + Vit C./Arbutin (to fade dark spots,) + Niacinamide, + Ganoderma, + snail mucin with ginseng. Then I apply a layer of COSRX propolis-honey-royal jelly extract cream, then a layer of Seoul Ceuticals Snail Repair Cream (contains Vit E, Vit B5 & Green Tea). Before the cream layer of Seoul Ceuticals Snail Repair Cream completely dries and still feels slightly tacky to the touch, I apply a thin layer (two finger lengths) of sunscreen Biore 50 SPF.This BIORE sunscreen goes on smoothly & is completely absorbed, without leaving a white cast. Most importantly, BIORE sunscreen does not pill or flake when dry and when makeup is applied over it.On this skin protective canvas, I then apply a very thin layer of Elizabeth Mott Thank Me Later Make Up Primer. Then, and only then, do I apply my makeup. I try to achieve the So Korean and Japanese effect of a natural look in my daytime go to office/work make-up. I save the more dramatic makeup looks for special events/evening wear when the light is low and make-up does not appear too overpowering/glaring.I have tried many sunscreens and the ones that are Made In Japan like BIORE, in my experience, are the best.*****Cautionary NOTE*****: I have not tried this Biore sunscreen while spending all day out in full sun or while swimming. For that, I firmly believe you need to use a reef-friendly (approved in Hawaii) thicker mineral-based sunscreen, if you are serious and want to avoid looking like worn, cracked leather after the age of 25. Of course, it is never too late to start a good skin regimen. Start today. In a couple of months and even sooner, you will see the good effects of your efforts.I come from a culture that emphasizes good skin care and protection from the sun (I use a UV-protective umbrella and/or UV-protective wide-brim hats during daylight hours. I am an 82 yo; people say I look 30+ yrs younger. I drink Matcha Green Tea instead of Coffee (which I think ages your skin because it reduces the amount of oxygen that reaches your cells). Take good care of your skin, eat clean, healthy foods, and be happy.

This is different than the watery essence one
Just make sure you're aware which one you're buying. They're similar, but this one has fragrance (watery essence does not) and this one is thicker. I've been using the watery essence for years and love love love it.I ordered these by mistake and am past the return date now so will keep using this as it's good. Just feels very different going on. Much thicker. I like the lightweight almost not there feel of the other one...I'll manage with these till they're done and then decide if I'm going back to the other.

Still good, different scent
Overall good, no white cast. But it does smell a lot more like sunscreen than the previous version they sold which looked like it came directly from Japan
