Rips dead wood like crazy! For those who had trouble starting this saw - did you read the label next to the choke? Really?! Started quick and easy for me and shredded the dead fall tree in our front yard quickly.

This medium sized chainsaw is a “workhorse.” It is durable & powerful. It is the second one I have had. The 1st met its demise due to a chemical mishap, but it had run reliably for a decade. This updated version has all the good safety features, starts easily & the improved chain cuts through oak trees like a hot knife through butter. It is just the right size with its 18” bar. The weight is just right for us mere mortals & does not require a lumberjack physique to spend hours using this chainsaw. The Husqvarna brand is top shelf & worth every penny.

I have contacted Husqvarna several times about this problem and I never get the same answer or I just get blown off. I have used it one time for about 20 minutes just normal use around my yard. When I finished I put it in my workshop on my bench. When I came back the next day to do some more work the chain oil was everywhere and now it will not hold chain oil which makes it useless to me. Like I said I have contacted Husqvarna several times since I got it and a lot of nothing. I had a problem in the past with a weed wacker and there customer serves was no help with that either so as much as I like there products I can't recommend them because if you have a problem your on your own!

Works good but pull rope came loose on first use, apparently this is an issue for this brand saw, this saw made quick work of my downed tree.

Works great. The price was a good deal. My husband used it a lot. Just don't let your husband lend it to a friend that burns it up and brings it back not running and the plastic melted in some areas. Besides that it was a good chainsaw. So much so that I'm sure we will be buying another one when the weather gets nice.
