10W Solar Panel Fan Outdoor for Home Chicken House RV Car Gazebo Ventilation System

I am very happy with the GOODSOZ 10 W solar fan. First, I was pleased to have it arrive only seven days after my order (traveling from China to the US where I live in Kentucky). Although the box had been crushed somewhat in shipment, and the solar panel was slightly bent, the unit works just fine, thanks to the rugged new semi-flexible solar cells encased in a molded plastic film panel. (I contacted the manufacturer about the box, and they are working to provide more robust packing in the future.)The reason I selected this model originally was the sturdy metal grommets for mounting which the other models didn’t seem to have. I sealed the USB plug and socket with clear silicone roof sealer and mounted it to the shed where our dog stays in inclement weather, and he loves it. Although the blades are just under 7” in diameter, the fan provides a nice breeze for a person or a pet even if the sky is somewhat overcast. I liked the unit so much, I ordered another for our back deck, and the fan swivels to point to the dog when we are away, or to the swing where it is mounted when we are sitting there out back.These units have been through storms and blazing hot days, and continue to work just fine. I would recommend this fan to anyone thinking of providing stand-alone cooling for themselves or their pets.

The package arrived completely smashed which may or may not be the sellers fault but the quality of this fan is so cheap, you can tell it's junk. It barely blows any air at all. Much smaller than expected.

This solar powered fan seemed to be a great product and I was looking forward to using it to reduce the chance of powdery mildew on my cucumber plants by increasing air circulation. Unfortunately the connector to the solar panel was damaged in shipment. A quick email discussion with the seller and I was issued a prompt refund, I may try to re-order one in the future after the COVID-19 nightmare is over. Seller was very professional and prompt in issuing refund. Highly recommend this seller, good customer service!

Worked great for about 3 days. It was never exposed to any weather. For $50 it should last a bit longer than that, so I guess I received a lemon. I tested the fan and the fan works hooked up to my computer. I placed the panel in the sun with the fan hooked to it, turned the fan to high and then to low and neither work. It just makes a high pitched humming noise. I sent for a return on it. . . guess I will try something different.

The fan is helps keep the temperature down in our greenhouse by circulating the air. Doesn't seem it's made of the highest quality. Vibrates. It will be running any time the sun is out. So I still have to see how long this fan will last. It's only been a couple weeks but is doing the job so far.

In all fairness, they absolutely post the size of this fan, so in reality you should know exactly what you're getting, but I was still surprised at how small it was. That aside, my issue is that the solar panel does make the fan work (on two speeds) but truth be told it does NOT push much air, so in reality, in an outdoor setting, it's really no help at all (I live in the desert - plenty of sunshine, definitely can use a fan!). The solar panel came damaged in shipping - the packing is virtually non-existent. The picture showed the dog/dog house, so I thought this might be a nice way to move some air in my chicken coop - total fail.This is absolutely not worth the price.

I am really happy with this solar fan. I recommend it to anyone who needs a small fan with free, renewable energy.I use it in my small greenhouse where the humidity usually is above 80% - The fan works like a charm.It has a very slick stand which I actually use to hang the fan upside down (See attached photo).My roof is pretty high up and I wanted to get maximum sun so I can use the panel for more than just the fan.Because it has a USB socket, I connected a USB extension cable and hub, so the panel now powers both the fan and a small humidifier with no problems. Other products I found all had proprietary sockets, so this is a big plus for me.

The solar collector is making a noise that sounds like an old dial up phone. The solar panel will not run the fan unit. The fan works when attached to my computer, thus definitely a solar panel problem. The product was too expensive to last only a month. Had I purchased it locaLLY, i WOULD RETURN IT FOR A REFUND WITH A STRONG COMPLAINT. As it is,I guess I'm stuck with it. My recommendation is, don']t buy this product.I have not contacted the seller.. Poor qualiity is poor quality
