PRO Plan Vet Feline FORTIFLORA PROBIOTICO 30X1GR

I first bought this probiotic from my vets practice, on their recommendation when he was constipated, however it is somewhat better value for money buying from Amazon. Initially, I had thought that this probiotic would be at best, tolerated by my cat - as with most things that are 'good for you' I had thought it wouldn't necessarily taste very nice. So I mixed it in with the new, renal cat food which I now have to give my cat, who suffers from advanced kidney disease. However, on one occasion, my cat leapt up onto the surface where I was preparing his food, and as I was shaking the probiotic on top (and before mixing it in). He seemed so keen to eat that he started scoffing the food before I had even put it down on the floor. Then, it appeared that whenever I sprinkled more of the probiotic on his food, he was much more interested in it. It now seems to me that the smell and taste of the probiotic is very appealing to my cat - very important, as I am desperately trying to get him to eat - he feels sick often, due to the toxins from the kidney disease. Now, he acts like it's a treat that I'm opening, when I tear the top of the sachet, ready to sprinkle it on his food (I no longer mix it in - I want him to benefit from the smell and taste!). So for me, this probiotic is a real winner - anything that gets my cat excited about his food is good by me! It has also improved his digestion and output (without going into unnecessary detail!) and so whilst it is yet another expensive item to add to the already increased costs of his food, his renal treats, and all the medications I have to give him (which are extortionate!), I feel it is one of the best value items, as it means he EATS! Thank you!

This is a brilliant product if your cat suffers with a sensitive digestion. They arrived very fast and work a treat, plus my cats like the taste

Add to one of my cats food. He is a bit addicted to it if im honest. Good and helping settle any GI issues. Use after any antibiotic treatment to restore microbiology and helps during times of loose stools x

Great product, my cats have really benefited from the probiotics. They say pretty girls have tummy troubles and that is very true for one of my fur babies, she has struggled to keep food down, put on weight and gets constipated but she's been much better since using this. It is very expensive though

My Ragdoll is a very fussy cat when it comes to food. My vet recommended I use this Pro Plan product and it works wonders! I just sprinkle a tiny bit on his wet food, like seasoning on a plate of human food, and bingo! his dish is clean. A life saver for a neurotic cat mum like myself.

This is a repeat purchase for one of ours cats that has a delicate stomach and intestines. It follows a prescription of a paste from the vets but the cat prefers this. And it has a positive effect - less odour and less loose stools. He eats steamed food with the powder mixed in and sprinkled on the top.

This was recommended by a friend, as I have a cat with digestive issues. This has really helped with the issue. Has a good long shelf life, and I now have this on a subscription basis. It is value for money.
