35pcs Rare Heirloom Iris Seeds - Beautiful and Colorful Blooms for Your Garden - Multi-Varieties

So far so good the seeds atleast look healthy! First of all I just want to say how important it is to research any seed before planting. Unpon my research I learned it’s good to soak the iris seeds for 24-48 hours, then plant them. So that’s what I’m doing. I have never used seeds only rhizomes but I figured I’d give it a try. I’ll update my post once I plant them and they sprout. I also counted 41 seeds so I got extra! I am not planting all my seeds right now I saved a lot incase I mess up the planting. UPDATE: not one seed sprouted yet. Although I haven’t given up.. it’s been roughly a month and a half since I planted the seeds. I have heard that it can take weeks, months or even years. So I guess time will tell if these seeds truly sprout and if the colors are accurate. I’ll update again if sprouts pop up!

Nothing bloomed at all!

Ok, so i was a bit skeptical, but so far, they're growing really well! I had about a %50 germination rate, the seedlings seem strong. It was fairly easy to sprout them, I just put them in a cardboard egg carton in some coconut coir fibre, (i bet peat moss would work too) i put them in a zip lock bag and placed them on a sunny windowsill. It did take about 3 months, but now here they are! Once they get big enough we'll see what the blooms look like, but they did sprout!

DO NOT PURCHASE THESE SEEDS!!!! They are a waste of money. I planted mine indoors on May 1st 2025. It is now June 6th and not one seed has sprouted. So disappointed as these Iris looked to be so beautiful! 😕
