New Shocq Archery Short Adult Black Armguard PU Leather Elasticated Adjustable Extremely disappointing quality.Used with PSE Dominator Max, 50.5lb draw weight. Literally used it for 1 Portsmouth round (60 arrows plus 6 sighters) and it is clearly damaged. I think the string only hit the guard maybe 5 or 6 times, and where the leather on the guard is damaged it actually frayed my brand new bow string. I now have to replace the string again or risk the bow dry firing.Attached is a photo showing the damage. Also attached is a photo comparing it to the arm guard I borrowed from my archery club and have used for several weeks. You can see that there is no damage on that one at all.Of course, in theory I should not be hitting the arm guard at all, it is there just in case. However if you do hit the guard it should not fall apart immediately, and certainly shouldn't damage your bow string! I'm not happy about that at all as the string will cost me about £60 to replace, and the bow shop is an hour drive away from where I live. Very inconvenient.

Not a massive fan of this armguard. Its comfortable enough but the straps don't tighten well enough to secure it to your arm properly.

Very comfortable and holds my sleeve tight to my arm. It also provides protection from the bow string hitting your arm.

Very impressed with the quality of this for the price, arm doesn't get quite so sweaty wearing it and adjusts easily.

Just perfect, don't know how substantial the clips will be only time will tell but so far okay and good value for money

It does the job nicely and doesn't tangle in my arm hairs like ones with a narrow elastic strap.
