This item was a game changer after my 93 yr old mom had a pacemaker installed! She was completely immobile without the use of her left arm, but this item allowed us to get her in/out of bed, reposition, and get out of the car. Very sturdy, and made the situation so much better. Hard plastic hard for older gentleman to get good grip

My husband is a big guy and with 2 bad knees, he always needs help getting out of a chair. When I would grasp his hands and help pull him to standing, sometimes our hands would slip. This device is easily gripped by both partys, and the grippers on both his side and my side assure there will be no slips. I can easily help him to a standing position. I am buying more of these to keep around the house (and vehicle) so they are readily accessible. I cannot express enough what a simple and fantastic aid this is!

It works as advertised. One has to be strong enough to pull the other one up.
