did not think i would fall this hard
i’ve been curious but a bit weary of Art’s story, because i was afraid i’d have a hard time connecting with him.lucky for me, Saxon Jame came through once again.Art and Joey were equal parts fun and tender and i can see myself revisiting this story many many times

Fun
Angst at the beginning, but it's good, and they're both so nice. A little immature, but it's fun. Great read, very heartwarming. Glad we finally got to see Art happy with someone.

so good
The whole series is fantastic and this one does not disappoint! Low angst, lots of laughs- the group chat is the highlight :)

Love this really much!!
Art and Joey are made for each other.Art the sunny boy, not at a loss for words, not a man for more than one night and certainly not for a relationship. Joey the hot bartender, who flirts with Art for all he's worth, but insists on being hetro.Over the course of the book, you get to know Art as a caring man who secretly cares for everyone around him, but wants to keep it a secret. You learn about Joey's worries, his fears of not being enough and how much he cares for his sisters.I loved that Joey doesn't make a big drama out of Arts support, but accepts it for what it is, Arts loving side! And even better was that Joey can look behind Art's walls and is exactly what Art needs.Art's public declaration that Joey belongs to him was one of the best scenes im the book and I wish I could rediscover Art and Joey's story all over again!Divorced Men's Club has really grown on me and I can't wait to read what happens next with Keller and Will!

I made myself not ask Google what that meant, so I could find out with Joey. Last line of the book, baby; but so worth it.I will never stop loving these men. A few appearances by past loves, and introductions to some new ones (to keep the series going once the OGs are all loved-up). Can't wait for Keller and Will's book next (available for preorder now)!Art is the guy who's always there for everyone else, but has convinced himself that he doesn't want what his friends have. He doesn't want to settle down. Sometimes it's easier to not have hope, and be disappointed, than to always be searching. When he meets Joey, he's still in denial, though Art accepts every small step he takes towards a relationship with him as a solitary occurrence, while refusing to see the whole. Yet, when he admits a relationship is what he wants, he goes for it full out.Joey does not belive he can ever have Art. Between never exploring his attraction to men, hiding his past, and his struggles just to get by, he sees himself as less than. Art helps him take a new perspective, and he's self aware enough to accept the changes in his life.I loved this story, and this series. As with all of them, a lot of spicy times, buy still a deep emotional connection.Highly recommended.
