ScunciNo-Slip Grip Lacey Claw Clip, Dark Brown/Black, Large (1 piece)

I had previously purchased this Scunci No-Slip Grip Lacey Claw hair Clip from a retail store and have loved it ever since. It has been my favorite hair clip and the best one I have ever owned by far in comparison to all others. It has been durable while others have easily broken by the spring or it’s teeth. The curved style of the clip sits better on your hair since it follows the curve of your head. This may not make a difference if you have a lot of hair or thick hair but for me that has fine medium length hair, it hugs the hair tight and stays put. I would imagine that the tension would work just as well for thicker hair. I have since been looking for this same clip in stores and online and it has been hard to find so when I saw it here, I was beyond ecstatic! The clip was delivered intact and it is same quality like the one I already have so now I can be confident in buying a few more. The only thing that I was really disappointed with was that the clip as pictured and in the description says it is brown/black in color just like the one I have but when I received it, the clip was a solid black in color. This is why I did not give it 5 stars. Although I was okay with it, it is not as pretty as the brown/black clip that I wanted which compliments brunettes better than the solid black color. I wish I could get the brown/ black one! Other than this, it is an excellent hair clip! A definite repeat purchase!

I have long hair, so I need something strong enough to hold it up. This clip is my second one. The first one has held up so well. It is strong, does not slip, neither does it pull, and stays in place.

I have long, straight hair that normally requires hair clips with a silicone coating. Based on the reviews I thought I’d give this clip a shot. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work for me. Although the grip is tighter than almost any other hair clip I’ve used, the shape of it was not ideal. It protrudes too much to wear while driving or sit anywhere there is a headrest, such as the movie theater. I found it pulled on hair too much when I turned my head even slightly.If the design was wider with a lower profile, this would work better for me. Until then, it looks like I’ll need to go back back to using two medium sized octopus hair clips or hairpins.

These clips are the only ones that hold my hair and they are comfortable to wear. Other clips I have used are uncomfortable and won’t hold my hair up.

I have been looking for these since the pandemic hit. I have very thick hair and these clips are the only ones that work for me. They have a bit of rubber on the inside so they hold the hair tight.

Overall it is a nice hair clipI would prefer if I can choose the color

With covid life, my hair has gotten really long. I have fine yet curly hair, so I love the Scunci no-slip grip hair clips. I needed to upgrade to a larger one and this one is perfect. I like that it’s a longer, more rectangular shape compared to other medium and large claws that are short and bulky, as if they’re meant for hair that’s in a round bun or something. I wear my hair up in something like a French twist most days, with my curls flying out of the top, so this clip works great for me, feels sturdy and strong, and stays in place. It’s not so sturdy that I pinch my fingers in it or anything, though. Overall it has become my go-to and favorite clip. Especially because of the cute, scalloped edge and lacy-type design instead of being plain and boring plastic. :)
