This provided me with a much needed dessert. Love lemon desserts. Being allergic to wheat and potatoes and avoiding most grains, it is difficult to find any kind of baked food with any kind of taste. This provided a nice dessert with only a little bit of an aftertaste.

Didn't rise very dense
I checked expiration date--it was fine. I knew something was wrong when I put it in loaf pan, so I reread instructions x2. I had done everything. It was so dense that I threw it out. I never throw out deserts! Can't imagine what went wrong.

Wonderful as usual
I add a tsp of lemon extract to the mix and this is really good. Doesn't need the extra, but we all like a strong lemon cake flavor. Will keep buying monthly.
