I always replace the heater tube's when doing hot water heaters. I recently needed to relocate my hot water heater and needed some new hoses, these were half the price of the box store so I ordered them. They arrived in a u shape, but surprisingly they were very easy to straighten out. The metal is sturdy yet easy enough to bend by hand. Some quick measurements and gentle bends and I had perfect replacement pipes. Stainless is great for gas and electric hot water heaters. Make sure you measure the fittings, and the required length. Easy to use, performs just like name brand, great value!!

Works as expected, metal corrugations slightly stiffer than anticipated. Need to be diligent when tightening - be careful to prevent "pipe" from turning when snugging up the nut.
