AMAZING!! Not ONE issue at all!
Been using this for a few weeks, Plugged a fused power strip into it…So far: Powers a laptop, a home 2.1 Logitech 240v sound system, LED RGB lights, a spare power pack, and recharges my smartwatch + Mobile Phone (via it's built in USB) with NO ISSUES or Overheating.Worth it's weight in GOLD!!No power spikes or overheating… It's been on consistantly and just works as one would hope (beyond it's sales pitch and random reviews). So, from experience = Excellent Product well beyond it's price point!

Cheap and compact pure sine wave
Perfect and an essential for any little car or van, especially for campers. The device is nice and small and is also quiet in my experience as to not be a distraction. For those wanting to use it for anything more than 100W, the unit should not use the cigarette port and should be wired to the battery (or fuse box). See the picture attached to save yourself taking it apart, but the wire with the white line is your positive 12V, and the full black wire is negative.

Small with good looking sine wave output
I bought this to replace a non-pure-sinewave Inverter which previously damaged a laptop supply. I cautiously powered this one up from a 12V car battery and using a resistive voltage divider and non grounded portable oscilloscope I checked the output wave form and found it to be quite clean and 'sine wave like!' Unit is silent in operation.Output voltage was encouraging as it nominally read 230V AC 50Hz and corrected for increasing load. So far I have tried it with phone chargers and a small bench drill, (100W), both the wave form and voltage coped well with varying load on the drill.I am reasonably confident that while it continues to work as it did today it should be fine with my laptop.Interestingly, the unit does not need to be switched on to operate the 5V USB outputs a feature which should improve efficiency if all you need to do is charge portable devices from USB. I have yet to check the operating efficiency. For me the 300W output rating should be adequate to serve most of my requirements and to be quite honest, any greater power rating is going to discharge a car battery even more quickly. You don't get ow't for now't!I like it, its a great addition to my camper and home tool kit.

Bestek Inverter does everything it says.
Robust case, it looks to be solid and well made. Used 3 or 4 times from my VW Transporter cigarette lighter socket to run my wife's medical nebulizer (40 mins run time) and also pump up our inflatable bed which had a 240V input/plug. The van battery didn't didn't loose any voltage at all. Very quiet and didn't get hot. Well pleased with this bit of kit.

Warranty issue :-(
Hi. I bought one of these in October last year. It had been working fine, on the occasional, infrquent times I used it. However, it recently failed. The item came with information that suggested an 18 month warranty. So, I contacted Bestek about the failure. Eventually, after about a week, I received a response - asking me lots of questions about how I used it etc. I responded as soon as I could - and am still waiting for any further communication, 6 days later . . . So, be wary - it may claim to be guaranteed, but Bestek do not seem keen to honour that guarantee.UPDATE EDIT, 23.08.2024 - I did, eventually, hear back from their "customer service". They eventually appeared to accept the fact that their unit had failed, after less than 12 months of very light use. And their resolution? To offer me a 40% discount off my next purchase of one of their products. I declined and advised them that I would look elsewhere. I also informed them that I would NOT be recmoomending their products to anyone else, if I were to be asked . . .

Good value. Portable. Does the job.
Bought this product to work with small solar system charging battery connected to inverter. Primarily for charging laptop, mobile phones. Tested with charged battery alone, and tested with solar panel connected to battery to inverter to laptop and household bedside lamp. All worked a treat. 300 watt inverter more than enough. The Bestek Inverter is light and portable and easy to connect with its car cigarette lighter type fitting. Laptop charging time to full charge about the same time as on direct mains electric. Working hum of inverter sound noticeable but not constant. Power on green indicator of inverter turns red if there is a problem. Opted for the pure sine wave, costlier than modified wave, as noted interference on mobile phone when charging direct through battery charger and didn't want to risk electrical interference on laptop. Can confirm zero electrical disturbance with this pure sine wave inverter. For the price, and purpose, and ease in use, can't fault it.

Noisy
Works fine and seems well made, but really noisy. Has a cooling fan that is on the whole time. I'd have returned it but I'd removed the cigarette lighter plug and put some croc clips on before trying it! Idiot! As I say it works fine but don't buy if you have to live near where it's running.
