I was disappointed in this "book" , its not a book but a collection of simple crib notes, and question how it got its 5 star rating. It offered nothing more than available in less expensive books that provide much more in terms of context. It is a nothing more than known ratios and what I consider cheat sheets that offer little value.

Excellent book well organized and easy to follow! The author did a great job of explaining complex concepts in a clear and concise way. This book is full of formulas/examples needed for modeling. Valuable resource for anyone in the financial industry.

Very concise book and well structured book to keep on your desk!

The moment I ordered the book, I was expecting a large book due to the relatively high price. Therefore, I was very surprised when I received the package. The book itself is packed with a lot of knowledge and no wasted space. Every important topic of investment banking is covered. I have quite some experience in the field and still, I learnt some new details. Furthermore, it is a great way to review the topics and keep your knowledge up to date. However, one can recognize that it is translated from French (e.g. EBITDA = dotation & amortisation). Moreover, there are some mistakes (e.g. EBT = EBIT before tax). That shouldn't happen to a former investment banker, especially for the price of the book. In conclusion, I can recommend this "bible" for everyone in investment banking and those of you who want to break into wall street. BUT be careful and don't trust every single word.

The book is very interesting and a must read for students and professionals working in Finance. The author gives you details insights from his experiences. There are great examples and illustrations which can help you understand how merger and acquisitions work in real life settings.
