This was purchased for grandson's 5th Birthday present....he was absolutely thrilled to receive this Melissa & Doug Freestanding Wooden Grocery Store. The size was perfect for him, great quality construction as with all Melissa & Doug products, very realistic looking, easy to clean, and stands up to many hours of fun for him and his friends. Grandson was very creative, and would often use the scanner to turn the Grocery Store into a Library checkout station. He loved scanning and playing, and we all had fun playing with him. Highly recommend.

Got this for my daughter for Christmas, she was so excited to use it and the conveyor belt does not move as described. She is so bummed. I tried to return with an exchange to at least replace that part and I am not able to. Extremely disappointed with how much money was spent.

We love all things Melissa and Doug. This toy is a big hit. However the plastic door on the refrigerator part didn't last long. It just pops in with little plastic tabs, and my son tried to open it the wrongway and it broke off. However it looks fine without it. It does take some time to put together but the instructions are very good. A fantastic addition to our playroom tho and would definitely recommend
