They work as described but the refills are a little harder to replace than I like since we have a lot of traffic in/out when these are in use. We did have one break, it just quit working completely but ordered another. It's really easy to get the refills in large quantities too which we like.

Loved the idea of this, especially since my dad has a hard time bending down and thought this would be great alternative for him taking shoes off at our shoe-free home. However, it had not worked from day one! The plastic pieces get stuck in the dispenser and break. The covers themselves are cheap and SLIPPERY when walking on carpet (we manually put them on without dispenser!). By the time I put it together- it was too late to return. Would give less than 1 star if able. Do not recommend

I bought this contraption when we closed on our new home and I was wanting easy to use shoe protection for visitors, workmen, to protect new hardwood floors. It’s an ingenious system of instantly covering the shoes without the need to bend over and struggle with donning them, which would also kindly require a seat and also a receptacle nearby for disposal of used shoe covers. This dispenser really works!!! You MUST follow the directions given in the video to get this work properly and it does work, everytime, but you MUST do ALL the steps!! I ended up giving the shoe cover dispenser and shoe covers to a really kind cable guy who installed our router/modem in the home hub, as he had never seen and always wore covers into customer homes. What do I do in my home. Have lovely bamboo benches (separate review) at each entrance and ask all visitors to remove shoes. WARNING: the shoes covers are slippery on hardwood/vinyl and other hard/bare flooring. Definitely a fall risk for the elderly, unsteady… another reason I did not continue to use for guests and family members in my home… BUT the product itself works as advertised!!!

Very easy to take it out of the box and load one set of shoe covers. Very easy. They go on easy and I have a size 13 foot.

Does not work as its supposed to. Shoe covers do not release automatically. Usually one or two corners dont move when trying to release and you have to manually release it. Love the idea but this specific product was not it. It was Waste of money. Definitely returning.

We live in out in the country, so I keep one near the front door. When coming inside for just a minute, I slip the shoe covers on and don't have to worry about tracking mud or other debris into the house while leaving my shoes on. The one issue that I have is that occasionally one of the corner retainers from the shoe cover will not release from the unit. This probably happens once every 12-15 covers dispensed. I have noticed that this seems to happen more often when I am not deliberate in pushing down on the release mechanism in a positive, sharp motion. Now, with that said, I still think this unit is worth the money for the hassles it saves me and it keeps me on the right side of my wife when it comes to keeping the house clean.

We have lots of snow..so rock salt and calcium gets stuck in shoe treads...this saves my hickory floors that are throughout my house
