The best desk I've had in some time!
This desk is a BEAST! Be forewarned, it does require quite a lot of assembly. All tools and hardware were present, including an extra of each hardware and an actual small screwdriver. With the hubby's help and his electric screw driver we were able to get through it cleanly, but together it still took approximately an hour. After assembly, it is a gorgeous piece and surprisingly very sturdy. Plenty of room for my extra wide Sceptre monitor and smaller Acer monitor on the raised shelf (probably could fit another small monitor with some overhang if I wanted to squeeze them in). This was definitely an upgrade from my small glass gaming desk I've had for over a decade. The lights, I can't say are that great but are fairly cheap to replace so that wasn't an issue for me. Didn't really get it for the lights but they are actually pretty nice with an app to let you pick any color of the rainbow, plus several different themed color change settings that fade, blink or strobe with up to three shades. I just can't manage to keep the lights on. Plugs work amazing and keep cords off the floor. Baskets drawers are cloth and have no guides, so if you have young ones or pets, expect those to be easily knocked off the shelves. Otherwise, perfect and exactly what I expected, thanks to reading other reviews.

Great! For now ... :o
This sucker was HEAVY. WOW! It's quite large and is a pretty decent price considering its size. Build time for me was 2 hours and 30 minutes. I love the way the different screws were organized in individual labeled bags which made finding the one I needed very easy. It also came with a double-sided wrench, a mini screwdriver, and 2 different-sized allen wrenches. The instructions were detailed to an extent, I followed option 1 build (though I didn't really care either way) and ended up with option 2 somehow. The desk is sturdy from what I can tell, but I build it earlier today and was at work all day so I can't speak for it until I get some actual use out of it. However, it is a lovely desk and if I remember I'll update my thoughts in a couple of months!

If you work, study, and videogame... this desk = life
I have been searching for the perfect desk for quite awhile - probably over a year. I spent $50 more than I intended to because I literally could not find anything else that checked off all my boxes the way this one does. My place is small, so everything in my home has to be tall with storage to make a piece of furniture worth the space it occupies. This desk keeps my computer off the floor so it doesn't clog with dust and overheat, it has a monitor riser built-in (if you attach the shelf that way) so that it's better for neck posture. Under the monitor riser, there is space to push my keyboard back so I can read any non-digital textbooks and write notes with lots of elbow room. The riser easily fits 2 large gaming monitors and there is enough desk space to have a textbook and a notebook side by side without occupying too much width or depth. And the shelving.... THE SHELVING! I needed shelves so badly and the hutch that attaches to this literally eliminated my need for additional shelves. This thing makes my room look so much more clean, streamlined, and less cluttered. I work 45 hours a week at this desk, I study another 10-15 hours a week, and I game about 2-3 hours every day to every other day - and this desk is literally my new home inside my home. I love it - you won't regret purchasing this if you're trying to solve multiple space and posture/ergonomic problems without spending an arm and a leg! Another plus - magnets will stick to this. I assembled it without the crossbars because I could tell they would be trouble with my long legs and the footrest on my chair. Super sturdy without them.Cons: It's black - it gets dusty fast. I really wanted something with wheels because I'm one of those freaks that constantly rearranges their furniture (always trying to maximize space and minimize situations that invite clutter.) The frame of this is metal with no way to attach casters/wheels without some 200IQ ingenuity. It was a pain to put together, some things didn't line up properly. One corner arrived damaged (the corner of the box was also crushed, I had a long drawn out drama with FedEx because they initially dropped off some guys dog food from Chewy instead of this desk - but neither of those issues are the vendor's fault - and I was compensated accordingly for FedEx's @$$ hattery - (ended up buying the matching stand for my Razer kitty headset with the store credit I got from Amazon for keeping the damaged product, worth the small dent on the back corner!) A couple of the holes weren't exactly straight, but it's manageable if you wait to tighten every bolt until each one is threaded.Seriously, 9/10. The only way this could be better was if it was real wood..... then I could put my own wheels on! xD

Great overall
This deal is great, I’m sitting at it right now as I speak. I love it because it’s such an open area for me to draw. Looks exactly like the picture. But don’t do what I did and underestimate just how big it is.I will say it was kind of hard to build simply because I did it on my own without asking for help. And I’m not the strongest person ever and this desk, after it’s fully built, gets really heavy so I would recommend building it where you’re gonna have it. I also built it backwards the first time I did it so follow the instructions carefully. Took me 3 hours to build but that may be because I’m bad at building desks.I’m very happy with this desk. It doesn’t even wobble or anything very sturdy. Holds a bunch of stuff. I wanted to write a review because buying a desk on amazon I was scared so maybe this will help someone. It’s definitely worth the price. Essentially with the outlets.I was surprised the drawers aren’t really wood just printed images on a fabric cover.
