The best one yet.
This is one of my favourite authors, so I always make sure I pre-order his books. This one book 14 in the Hidden Norfolk Series is absolutely brilliant and the best one yet. It can be read as a standalone. From the very start of the book, you are totally captured, and you just want to read to the end and then wish there was more.It is a very well written and gripping storyline and plot, with very strong characters and some surprising twists. It is a most thoroughly enjoyable read, and I very much look forward to the next book.My thanks to the author for the advanced copy. This is my honest and unbiased review.

Norfolk Noir at it's Best
This series improves with each book. The characters are well crafted and continue to develop and grow. D I Tom Janssen is perfect as the main character, caring, supportive and brilliant at his job. The complex investigation twists and turns, with plenty of red herrings to keep the reader focused. I love the detailed description of the Norfolk landscape. There is more humour appearing now, just need a bit more of the dark variety. Recommended.

This book has a great storyline. I read it in two nights - definitely "unputdownable". Thoroughly recommend the story and Tom Janssen. Ready for Book 15 !

JM Rallies books
Bought a Hidden Norfolk book on spec. Loved it so much that I bought the rest of the series and the Hidden Yorkshire series. All 20 books were amazing!!! Would thoroughly recommend them.

My Blood Ran Cold!
Superb! I don’t know why I’m surprised. Jason has never disappointed with his writing. But this book was something else. I can usually work out who is the bad guy but this time I couldn’t get it. You had me foxed Jason!! The plot was exciting, intense and frustrating at times. With another ‘team’ supposedly having the jurisdiction. But once you start reading you find it difficult to stop. And when I neared the end my blood really did start to run cold. Brilliant writing.

A great step up
Thorough enjoyed Blood Runs Cold - a step up in storyline, writing, character advancement - so many more twists and turns that I got through the book in 3 sittings.

Money laundering and murder in Norfolk.
This is the 14 th book in the series and I have binge read the whole lot. Cracking story lines in each book. Impossible to stop at just one as there are family dynamics that engage the interest as well as mayhem and murder . The ending in each book is hard to predict .I found them all addictive reading. An excellent series . Very highly recommended. I am now about to download the series set in Yorkshire while awaiting book 15 in this one.

excellent read
Well crafted story, lots of twists. Just when you think you’ve solved it there’s another twist. Couldn’t put it down.

Irre spannend
Super spannende Geschichte, undurchsichtig bis fast zuletzt. Schade, das sie irgendwann zu Ende ist. Bin gespannt auf mehr, ich hoffe...

Superb!!
I have read all 14 of this series and loved every one of them. The continuity is brilliant and Jason's description of Norfolk and surrounding areas transports the reader to there. I cannot recommend this series highly enough, and will probably reread it, because it's that enjoyable. Thank you Jason and continuing the series would be appreciated, the characters have developed and feel like friends now. I want to know if Alice becomes pregnant, if George gets to have a brother or sister if Tamara and David's relationship develops, so many scenario's l would like addressed....🤗🤗

Real Page Turner
Twisty plot, lots of suspense coupled with absolute frustration at the lack of progress made by the team. Also I HATE when an obvious clue is shown to the reader but ignored by the characters. Until Hey Presto! Suddenly the identifier is revealed when it could have been shown to at LEAST six suspects. But that would’ve allowed the team to identify the body many chapters earlier. So the book is flawed and I wish the author would tighten up his style but if you’re 13 books into this series, don’t stop now.
