Good light with decent battery life.
Good strong light. I wish the strobe setting blinked faster. I bought it for the battery life and so far (3 mo) it has held up to the time advertised. I ride in the country on back roads and this makes me very visible from behind. Wish it had a clip attachment for my saddle bag - I had to Jerry rig it. But I works .

Outstanding customer service and hassle-free replacement
I purchased the SEEMEE 300 in July 2025 and was very pleased with its design, brightness, and overall performance. After several months of light use, the unit unfortunately stopped working after a ride in steady rain. I reached out to Magicshine support through Amazon, not really knowing what to expect. The customer service experience was excellent from start to finish. Hannah from Magicshine responded promptly, asked clear and reasonable troubleshooting questions, and carefully reviewed the videos I sent showing that the light would no longer charge or turn on. Communication was polite, professional, and patient throughout, even when an earlier email didn’t go through and needed to be resent. Once it was clear that the unit had failed, Magicshine immediately arranged a replacement without any back-and-forth or pushback. The replacement arrived quickly (one day earlier than the original estimated delivery date), and the process was completely hassle-free. It’s rare these days to see such responsive and fair after-sales support. Magicshine clearly stands behind their products, and that gives me a lot of confidence as a customer. Based on both the quality of the light and the outstanding customer service, I would absolutely recommend the SEEMEE 300 and Magicshine as a company.

Built tough, bright as heck!
Got the 400 because it connects to the remote that I have that came with the Hori 1300. Syncs perfectly with my lights now and my goodness it is bright. Be careful when it's on High Flash mode. Momentarily blinded when I was testing. Battery lasts longer than anything I have owned even on non-eco mode. Speaking of which, eco mode is only when you really need to save on battery. Very low visibility on that mode. Rather have it on flash than eco mode. Got the Black Friday discount so I got it at a fair deal. LOVE the pulsating, dowfacing 360 degree light!

Great Light, Horrible Mount, Good Support
Update 01 DEC 2025: Much to my surprise, Magicshine reached out and offered my money back. Well, the light “works” but I had to create a custom mount. Instead, I asked for another light as I need another bright tail light. Now I have two and am building another custom bracket. The light is that good, I don’t mind spending time making it work. It’s your call. If you have to mount the light anywhere other than the seatpost, you will have to get creative (added photos for reference). See my original review below for details. I’m adding a star back due to customer support. Oh, Magicshine claims to be working on better mounts, and I believe them after seeing their new Hori 1300 light with a Garmin mount. Hope this helps. ————————————————————— First, the good: Brightest tail light I own, and I’ve owned many. Great side and rear visibility day and night. Great battery life. Near perfect design. The bad: The mount really ruins this fabulous light. Why? Because it only mounts to the bike seat or seat post, and it does so in a flimsy, non-standard way. In other words you cannot mount this light on a rack or vertical bike part…Only angled seat tubes. Who on Earth made this design choice? Every other light I own easily adjusts to anything, allowing mounting to a rack, pack, rear triangle, seat post, helmet, etc. The good lights feature adjustments to aim the light so cars can see it. With a non-adjustable angle built into the mount, the light either angles up towards the sky or down to the road if mounted on anything other than the seat post. No amount of brightness makes up for a misaligned light. Worse yet, if you ride with a trunk bag, you can’t use a seat light because your bag blocks the light. Magicshine gives you zero options for any other mounting options, so you either get creative or return the light. Also, all my other lights have a secure quick release design that is trustworthy. This quick mount just doesn’t inspire confidence. Why not use a standard Garmin or Planet Bike Superflash mounting design??? Ugh. Magic shine, you were so close to perfection…but the mount is such a weak point. Me? I had to make a custom mount with glue and plastic since there is zero vertical adjustability. I shouldn’t have to engineer a solution because Magicshine’s designers couldn’t get it right. The light is too expensive to justify such a brain-dead, inflexible mount. It’s your call. If you ride with just spandex on your bike, this light will work on your seat post. Anything else may block or mis-aim the light, and no amount of lumens can correct for this. Light = perfection Mount = disaster

Magic shine seemee400 is a fabulous addition to the stable lighting solutions.
Lamp is bright and ant+ / motion sensor brake features work.... But the instructions are misleading. After contacting support I was able to clarify the proper button press sequence for both, and the lamp is fabulous. Thanks again Hannah for the tech support

Unreliable. Turns off by itself even withdull battery.
perfectly functioning light. However, difficult to gauge when it turns off. Because you only really know when it's <20% battery (when >30% or so, it's green light indicator), it's difficult to gauge whether you can make the next long-ish ride. Of course, in an ideal world, I would charge it before I go on a ride >30 minutes. However, sometimes, I don't. And for good, or bad, this light is very bright (which is great!), but because it's so bright, it chews through battery aggressively. I have had several times where the light was off when I got home. Now, is this the lights fault? absolutely not. I'd rather have a bright light that has the option of being dim, rather than a dim light that has no option of being bright. AND, I want it in a small and light package. So, this is just something you should know before getting this. This light is definitely an upgrade from any of the other cheaper lights. extremely bright, the break detection works great. The fact taht it has two bright lights and also another light pointing down is great. However, just make sure you're also a responsible person so that you don't end up with no tail light when you need it most. If you just want a light that works for 1 month without babysitting it. Just go with a light with less lumens. I personally use it on max brightness setting for about 40 minutes a day, and I have learned to charge it about 2-3 times a week and it's been working great. I can probably go a week but have learned to just incorporate the charging in my routine rather than forgetting about it for 2 weeks.

Do not use the seatpost rail mount.
So, the light features are great, I really liked it. The smart sense braking seemed to work well, and the 10(?!) different patterns and modes were neat. However on my second ride with it, (note: on city streets) the seat rail mount that came with the light failed at some point, and the mount and light were both gone when I arrived at my destination an hour (11 miles) later. I made sure I clipped it on correctly over both rails, but apparently the bike coming off of a curb when leaving a green way or something was too much jostling force for the mount to stay in place. Is that surprising? Yes. The install was straightforward, but that thing was hard to get over both rails, and felt firmly clipped in place. I now wish that the mount came with something to lock it in place, rather than just relying on the clips being tight, because clearly it can't adequately hold on to the rails with the leverage of the weight of the light on it. So here we are. I paid good money for the product, used it as intended, and it's gone. Would be a great product for the price, but the crap mount holds it back.

Excellent customer service
This taillight worked perfectly for a couple months, but then after charging would only work for a few minutes. Perhaps it was the cold temperatures, not sure. But I contacted the company's customer service at magicshine.com, and they were fantastic. Very fast response, and they wound up sending me a new unit right away at no charge honoring their warranty. This one works perfectly. Great product.
