Q: We have this installed in our bedroom and the annoying white flash of what is a white led behind a red lens. Keeps waking us up.

I think every smoke alarm will have a periodic flashing light which is a confirmation that the alarm is correctly powered (i.e. battery life is ok or mains connection is good) and is functioning properly. I don’t think that there is a solution other than repositioning or relocating the alarm.

Q: Is it ok for use in static caravans

This unit can be used in a Caravan, however it is not advisable to install smoke alarms in the kitchen area to avoid false alarms. I hope this helps. Many Thanks, Gemma H

Q: Does this test for carbon monoxide?

These are just smoke detectors for the carbon monoxide you need different type ,also these are valid for 10 years then the battery is finished and you can’t replace the batteries These fire angels are high quality pieces of devices for any house and well worth it

Q: Fire Angel st750t arrived today. Diagram of baseplate in user manual is different from one supplied. Why is this?

Not sure but if the base plate fits it should be ok, to be sure contact the supplier for conformation
