I bought this nice set of markers for my eight year old nephew, trying to inspire him to be artistic. I also bought his little sister a big set of cheaper sargent markers (she tends to leave the caps off, so I wasn't going to spend a lot). Unfortunately, my nephew doesn't like the tips on these markers. A young kid just doesn't have the patience necessary to color with something like this. You can't put a lot of pressure on it, and you have to take your time directing it around. So, now his little sister has to share her markers with him. Oh well.

Pens are great and don’t bleed. I like the tip and it’s great for jus my doing basic writing and doodling. The marker part is also great. The bag is neat too.The reason i gave a 4 star instead of 5:1) first time i bought the markers, 4 weren’t working. They sent a whole new set which was AWESOME, but 2 of those weren’t working. So kind of a bummer that two bags in a row weren’t 40/40 but they did a good job working to replace it.2) The bag is starting to rip. I take it everywhere, but might have to buy a new bag for my pens :/

I really liked how these markers had a case that came with them, so i can hopefully not loose one and keep them all together. I tested all of them except for one i think i just can’t seem to find the one i haven’t tested the colors are all so identical. Three of my markers did not work so well so i discovered if you add just a little bit of water on the brush, it can work better. Not professional quality but very nice for a low price. The brand name is really corny but fun for kids. I give these markers over all 4/5 stars.

Wide variation of colors, dual tipped with one side pen-like and one side felt tipped, which is good for switching between writing and coloring. Also came with bright orange case. Only 4 stars because a couple of marker tips were fraying (as if already used), and was hard to tell the difference between the yellows (4 or 5 different ones). In addition, the marker's cap is not an exact match with the color that came out, although I suppose that might be impossible. Not a big deal - I did test out each color and enjoyed the purple and blue variations the most. Would recommend at the $15 price I paid.

I bought these to start learning to do calligraphy and work on my lettering. Specifically to try out the brush pens. For that I am happy with my purchase. Decided to check out each color and unfortunately 4 pretty colors do not work for the brush tip and the fine pen tip. Why couldn't it have been ugly colors that do not work! Because of those not working decided to give 4 stars.

They don’t even mention that you get this cool little carrying case to hold all your markers in. Some of the colors are a bit hard to see on my white paper, however, they still show up and are very smooth and true to the cap colors. Except for the two greys. One is supposed to be darker than the other. They looked nearly identical to me. But perhaps it’s my eyes. Perhaps one is slightly more blue in hue, but not by much. I liked the verity and duel sides for both thick and thin lines. Both sides works well. I didn’t have any issues with dry markers or scratching on the paper. I would certainly recommend.

Love all the colors and the fine tips! It’s a great price for the number of pens you get. My only downside is the quality of the brush pen side. It feel like the nib will easily fray, but hey, they are pretty cheap. Also my red pen had some kind of issue. It still works, but can be messy to use.

I used these marker pens for coloring in an adult coloring book and I do like them. They do bleed through the page but not too badly onto following pages. A couple markers are a little dried out but overall I still think for the money you spend these markers are good.

a few pens were great, others horrible.i dont recommend these, just buy tombows intead.
