Plasticolor 006732I01 Elite Series Speed Grip 'Honda' Steering Wheel Cover , black

Installed in my 195K+ mile 1999 Accord LX Coupe (2.3L I4 VTEC YO!)It was a bit of a challenge due to having to really tug the cover over the steering wheel; However, it turned out to be a nice, tight, sturdy fit all around despite the heavily worn steering wheel losing a great deal of material from years of use by the previous owner.Not the biggest fan of steering wheel covers, but since I was too busy to find, and swap in another steering wheel in much better condition at the time, I opted for this cover because there were far more important repairs I was trying to finish, ASAP (and because I was used to the thicker, sporty grip of my early R-Design steering wheel in my Volvo S60). I must say, it was DEFINITELY worth the money, and I'm certainly inclined to continue using this cover when I actually swap in a better-looking steering wheel in the future.

5 years later and it is still in good condition.

Came to my house quick, and gives the interior of the car a nice aesthetic, I am pleased with my purchase. Only heads up is that it was a slight struggle to install lol

Great product snug the wheel!!

I first tried installing this with the back end of a spatula and broke that immediately. Then I sat it next to a space heater for a few days and that also did nothing, but then we miraculously had a series of days where it was 70+, meaning it could get to 104+ in my black interior. I had to leave it on the dash for 3 days, but it did eventually become pliable enough to wrap all the way around the wheel, and has stayed firmly in place since I got it on. I could have done a better job centering it but oh well lmao. Doesn't make the wheel much thicker but it is a lot softer. It's still easy to grab the thumb indents at 10 and 2. Not sure if it will get too hot to hold in the summer. It is perforated, but I'll update if it becomes uncomfortable in hotter weather. Your install will probably go easier if you have central heat, or maybe just don't install it in the winter lmao. Can't complain for 20 bucks, they're a pain to install no matter what you spend, this one is comfortable to hold and seems pretty durable. I'll update if it rips, but I have no plans to take it off any time soon.

Love it! The product is well made, and it feels and looks great on my 2003 CR-V. Really dresses her up. Yes, it's hard to get on, sort of like getting a tire on a rim (I used my fingers, but a blunt tool might also help). Start at the top and work your way around, little by little. There is just enough give in the material for it to finally slip into place. It's snug, so you'll want to make sure it's positioned how you like when you start. Enjoy!
