So good
So good I forgot to take a picture before I start eating. I cut the recipe in half, using 1 cup each club soda and mix; 1 egg and 1 1/2 tbs oil and it was perfect. Not your typical waffle, light airy and has a great flavor and his other folks have said it’ll look like they’re burnt, but they are not.

If you’re looking for an easy to use waffle mix dont buy this one!
I was looking for an easy to use waffle mix but this one needs club soda, which I never carry at home, and is such an odd requirement! Not happy

Not much flavor in this
Directions on ingredients you need should have been listed prior to purchasing. Not much flavor in this.

Burned and raw at the same time
I followed the instructions *exactly*. It’s not difficult to mix, you can’t really mess that part up. Put them in my Belgian waffle maker (maybe that’s the problem.. maybe you need a normal waffle maker lol) first at high heat, then medium, then low. Every single one came out burned at the top and raw at the bottom.. I have no idea why. They were thin as paper. I tried putting in more batter, less batter, different heat settings and they all came out the same. Very confusedAlso for everyone saying they’re only 110 calories each, that appears to be BEFORE preparing. The oil and egg add calories. Just an FYI

Very rightly named.
These waffles are like eating a cloud that melts in your mouth! And I had the gluten free ones too! Usually any other gluten free waffle is like eating cardboard but this one was like eating air. I loved them so much and I can't wait to have them again!

Tasty waffles that are easy to make
Although Belgium waffles are a mainstay for me, I've not had one before that uses yogurt in the mix (be it dehydrated yogurt as in this particular mix, or fresh yogurt added to the batter). It makes for a very good waffle that was lighter and more tender than I expected it to be.The mix is straightforward to make, but you will need to have club soda (in addition to the usual oil and egg). I imagine the club soda is used so that the carbonation simulates the airiness that you'd get with a traditional yeast-raised waffle. It does work well -- the waffles were light with a nice crispiness on the outside. The instructions say to blend the ingredients for 1 minute with a picture of a blender. I just used a whisk and everything seemed to work out just fine. (As an aside, the instructions are in tiny, hard to read type. Manufacturers should keep in mind that those of us with old eyes also eat waffles. A tiny gold colored font printed on a cream colored background may be an attractive design, but it's just irritating to try to read.)They are sweeter than the typical waffle It's not so sweet that it's cloying, but I found they worked best with just a slight dusting of powdered sugar rather than my usual syrups. The nutritional profile is OK considering this is a waffle. It has 8g of sugar, but also 7g of protein. While I think the mix would benefit from a bit less sugar, the protein content is quite good for a waffle. It's a interesting and enjoyable twist on a traditional Belgium waffle that's pretty tasty. 4.5 stars rounded up to 5.

People giving a bad review apparently didn't follow the instructions
I had these waffles and they are amazing. Funny how some people say they are bad, but others say they are great. Sounds like the people who say they are bad, didn't follow the instructions. You have to properly mix the batter as instructed to the T. It's not a thick batter at all. Bottom line, if you read "All" of the instructions and follow them correctly, you'll have the lightest, tastiest waffle ever. Only 110 calories per waffle. Very light and doesn't leave a dough ball in your stomach.

Excellent as pancakes!
These heavenly chef developed revolutionary waffles are high protein and low fat and contain 40% dry yogurt. One of the ingredients is club soda, I don’t normally have that in the house so I had to buy some at my next grocery run. The waffle mix is quite runny when I mixed it up with an egg and the club soda and oil. I had to try several times to make the waffles in my waffle iron in order to have them turn out usable but in the end we were successful and the waffles tasted very good, we had them for dinner on a night when I had to work all day, an easy dinner. The waffles do taste good but they are a little tricky to make. Not sure if I would buy them again but I will certainly use up all of this bag of mix.Update: We made blueberry pancakes with this mix and they came out heavenly. The pancake itself tastes delicious, it is light and doesn’t have the heaviness that other pancakes have. We made these pancakes for our grandkids as well the same day and it was overall a big hit. Excellent batter for light fluffy airy pancakes.
